   The vanilla taste was good, not too strong or too faint. But it left a gross greasy feeling in my mouth, like I had just eaten a bite of shortening. Great price, great protein level. But I’m not ordering again. I wish I knew what the ingredient was that left that feeling so I can avoid it in other protein powders as well (although this is the only protein powder I’ve ever had that with and I’ve tried at least 5-6 brands.

   I purchased this to try and incorporate some more protein into my diet as having high cholesterol makes it difficult. Unfortunately, I just couldn’t get past the taste. While adding some cinnamon helped a tiny bit, nothing I added made it palatable. I even tried using 1/4 of the recommended amount of powder to weaken the flavor, but it still had me gagging. Someone recommended I add peanut butter but that made it 10x worse. I was really hoping, based on the other reviews, that this would be a mild flavor but it’s sooo potent. As it stands, I can’t recommend subjugating anyone to this tongue torture.

   It came with a huge bottle, it will take a while to finish it. When I open the bottle, some kind of strange smell, never smell like this compared with other brands. I am not sure if it’s normal, not going to take the risk.
