   I absolutely cannot recommend a product whose first three ingredients are forms of sugar, and whose ingredients include a whole lot of synthetics and fillers and zero non-GMO substances. The nutritional values for this beverage are relatively low and the payoffs for health low also, as it is well known that a sugar load like that from this product is detrimental to health and can contribute to medical conditions such as the development of Type 2 Diabetes. The manufacturer obviously chooses the cheap and easy route rather than the responsible way to nourish people. This is nothing more than a medically sanctioned soft drink without the bubbles. It takes 1/2 cup per recipe. There are plenty of nutritionally responsible beverages out there. Avoid this old standby whose time is past! It even tastes artificial. True garbage.

   The vanilla powder tastes good, and unlike the liquid version, this version doesn’t contain artificial sweetners (sucralose). I would love an unsweetened option though.

   Ensure is a good general meal replacement. The latest formula lists 240 calories per one cup (mixed) serving. That serving includes 8g(16%) of protein, 8g(10%) of fat, and 33g(12%) of carbs. Obviously that’s not ideal for health, it would be nice if the carbs (from corn syrup) were lower. But to me the strength of Ensure is that it has an easy taste which will suit most people. I’ve often seen Ensure given to seniors as a meal replacement, and it does its job. Minus one star because the macro balance could be better (ditch the corn syrup!). Minus another star because one of my cans wasn’t sealed and had spread product all over the package. That’s a lot of waste in one box.

    This has been always a great product but in this last order one of the cans was damaged as shown on the pictures. Not sure how to proceed since this is a 3 pack order and dont have the need for a full exchange.
