   Don’t buy this. They changed the packaging so I didn’t realize it was the same collagen I bought & didn’t like it. Does not dissolve well & leaves hard gunk in your cup.

   After trying another brand (Great Lakes) from a blog link, I found this product, read the reviews, and decided to take a chance considering it’s pretty much half the price. I am very glad I did. I can barely taste it in my coffee. The only real difference (besides price) in comparing these two products is that this takes a few moments longer to dissolve, but it does dissolve very well.

   To save on bothering with stirring and aid quick dissolving, I put it the collagen in the bottom of my empty coffee cup and then pour the coffee right on it, pouring it very deliberately onto the collagen, so by the time my cup is full, I only have a few little bits floating on the top. Then I walk away for a few moments to grab the cream and the rest of my breakfast; by the time I’m back, most, if not all, of the collagen has dissolved, so a couple of quick stirs is all I need. Might as well spend my time getting things done instead of stirring and stirring!

   Just bought my second bag; I’m hooked on this fantastic product.

   I’ve been using collagen for hair, skin, and nails for several years, and I’ve tried several brands. My favorite brand started adding extra things which reduces the amount of collagen per serving. I like Earthtone because it is pure, grass fed collagen, nothing added. It is virtually tasteless, and does not add thickness. I use it in my tea and smoothies. It is also the best value for the price! Love it!

   I just bought this and have only used it twice. It arrived Thursday and today is Friday. However, since there are a few bad reviews out there about taste and mix ability, I will rate this product now as I have experience with both for this product. First let me say – . I have several health issues, some serious and life long. One is Psoriasis and psoriatic/rheumatoid arthritis. After 14 years of biologics that don’t work and pill form chemo that destroyed my body, other issues have arisen as a result including damage from chemo. I’m not a huge fan of big pharma and I’ve decided to try a more holistic approach. I drink (2) 8oz collagen peptides drinks per day. One in the am and one before bed. I mix the powder with warm water I heat up in the microwave first. I then add a tablespoon of chia seeds and a squirt of water flavoring. I make enough for the week and bottle in my empty, clean Boost nutrition shake bottles and refrigerate. I think my added photos show why I still drink collagen peptides. I’ve been using Ordain collagen peptides for $24.99 at Walmart since April. That container lasts me 2 weeks. Since I need to purchase twice per month for a total of $50 a month, I was looking for grass fed collagen peptides a little cheaper. This brand at $16.99 for the same amount would total $34 a month, a $16 savings. That’s perk 1 Perk 2 – this brand looks, feels, smells and tastes the same as Ordain. In fact there is no smell or taste which is a huge perk for me. I need this to not have any flavor as I drink it straight from the bottle it’s made in / chilled and with chia seeds. Perk 3 – it mixes just fine. Any powdered anything will clump when mixed with cold water (except koolaid). If you look at the gel formed from homemade bone broth – it becomes clear liquid when warm. So it is recommended to mix this powder with warm to hot water (palatable coffee/tea temp) to completely dissolve to clear appearance before adding cold water or ice. There is no residue in the bottom of the bottle or cup when blended with warm water so you get the full benefit of the recommended dose. Anyone with health, skin, nail, hair issues or in need of extra protein in their daily diet will benefit from collagen peptides. Take a look at my April when I started photos and my now 2 month later photos. Can’t disputes this stuff works!! Good luck all!

   Compared side by side to the Orgain collagen peptides powder – smell is almost the same (very mild), taste is a little more noticeable but definitely not gross tasting. I mixed it in a big glass of water (about 10oz, room temperature) and an ounce of apple juice for taste. Dissolves completely (as shown in the picture) if you stir it right away and let it sit for a minute

   Price was great, packaging different from picture by seems like it’s the same brand. My problem is the clumping. Usually collagen peptides dissolve extremely easily. I’ve been using different brands for a while but this one seems to clump up pretty bad. After shaking to death in my shaker bottle there are still clumps, then if you let it sit for 30 seconds even more clumps form. Never had this happen with collagen peptides before.

    I have used this collagen for a couple years now and I really like it. My hair and nails have shown significant improvements while using. It mixes easily with my morning coffee. This time I ordered a double pack and one of the packages popped and power is all over the packaging and my counter. I’m not seeing a way to contact the seller for a replacement. Looks like there was air in the bags and they were forced into a box and that’s what caused a hole in the bag.
