   I’ve tried a number of different collagen powders. Some are more unflavored than others. I think this Dr. Emil collagen powder does have a little more of a noticeable taste, and I wonder if that’s due to the olive oil or if this powder just happens to have a little bit more flavor. I would not say that it’s strong or that it’s unpleasant, and I find that it’s covered up in the drinks I make, but maybe some people are going to be more sensitive to how this tastes. I thought it mixed fine. The serving size is quite large. I’m used to servings with 10 or so grams of collagen, so I just go with that, which will make this container last 30 days instead of 15. When looked at like that, the price is decent, especially since this gives you more than just collagen with the hyaluronic acid and the olive oil.

   I have the one that ha no flavor, you can use in in your coffee, juice or simply water. I recommend mixing with some juice or coffee, it doesn’t have a “bad” taste but in case you are picky like me. It is a really good product and I my skin is glowing and my energy levels are good too.

   The “taste” is unbearable and I know that collagen peptides are supposed to not taste good, but this one is unbelievable. Apart from that the recommended dose is too big and it doesn’t dissolve at all on water.

   This is one of the better collagens for the money. It is truly unflavored = I can’t smell nor taste any bovine, not even a scant amount.. > This is a higher quality and better value than one might think at first glance. It’s a blend of 1. hydrolyzed bovine collagen 2. Naticol marine collagen (which are natural fish (Tilapia) collagen peptides with high levels of purity) 3. Type II collagen from chicken (which is generally egg shell) 4. Extra virgin olive oil powder 5. Hyaluronic acid (90mg) is well know for it’s skin benefits and especially for dry skin / reducing fine lines and speeds wound healing. It mixes easily with a spoon in my coffee and like other good quality collagen, it’s not noticeable it’s there. The serving is 20gram which is two scoops of the included 10 gram scoop which makes 15 servings. However if comparing to other collagen that are only 10gram servings this is a 30 serving container. BTW may need to dig to the bottom of the container to find scoop. This is a high quality collagen at a good price.

    Like most collagen powders that claim to be unflavored, this still has the collagen taste or aftertaste. It is subtle, but there. It is by no means overpowering, but if you know to look for it, you’ll notice it. That said, this is one of the more mixable collagens I’ve tried. It goes well in smoothies or drinks with a strong flavor. It doesn’t clump and dissolves thoroughly in water. The goFAT does seem to give it a smoother taste, and it also contains hyaluronic acid, another beauty/health-friendly nutrient. I like that they breakdown the typical Amino Acid profile on the container, but I wish I knew where the powder was sourced from and manufactured. ~ Kort

    This Collagen powder has a few extras in it. Each serving is to be 2 scoops (21.1g), and provides 20g of, “Collagen Peptide Blend” which is Hydrolyzed Bovine Collagen, Naticol Marine Collagen, Type 2 Collagen from Chicken. Also in each 2 scoop serving is 1g of Extra Virgin Olive Oil powder, and 90mg of Hyaluronic Acid. There are 15 servings in this container if you decide to take the full 21.1g serving suggestion. I’ve been using this Multi Collagen Peptides Plus from Dr. Emil Nutrition in my morning shake/ Smoothie, and it mixes in there with other things just as well as other unflavored collagen powders do. The powder mixes easy in a shaker cup when I decide to use that. Overall, this is a decent Collagen product, that also contains some extras, such as 90mg of Hyaluronic acid. Though this jar lists only 15 servings, keep in mind those servings provide 20g of Collagen. Myself, I tend to only consume about half of that per day, about 10g, so for me, this container of Collagen powder will last me 30 servings. Compared to other unflavored Collagen powders out there, the price for this collagen powder is similar, just pay attention to how many grams of collagen you actually want to consume.

    I tested this on both hot and cold coffee. Serving size is two scoops. When testing on hot coffee, I could not get it to dissolve. Large clumps floated to the top of the coffee and I could not get them to break up and dissolve, see photo. The flavor was absolutely terrible and I had to throw away the hot coffee. The next day I decided to try it again this time with iced coffee. I prepared the iced coffee and I tasted the plain coffee and it was delicious, then I added the collagen. Stirring with a spoon, it dissolved much better into the cold liquid. However, it ruined the taste again. It was the same bad taste as the prior day when I tried it with hot coffee. This is an unflavored product that has a terrible taste. The source of collagen is tilapia fish. I cannot tolerate this product and I am rating it one star = hate it.

    It’s been a couple weeks since I’ve bought the product and after using it consistently I have noticed improvements in my skin and nails. My skin looks dewy and healthy and has actually made a decent difference in my old pregnancy stretch marks. They aren’t gone by any means, but they look smoother and less prominent.
    As for flavor, smell, and taste, it does smell “healthy” in the packaging but there is virtually no taste, I add it to my coffee every morning which I find dissolves more easily than in cold beverages, but if you blend it, it dissolves much better in cold drinks. All in all as someone who has wanted to try collagen this was a great experience and will probably buy again.
