   This protein powder tastes good with the vanilla amplified by the coconut flavor. It’s protein content is a bit low at 20g compared with even a lean shake such as GNC’s Lean Shake’s 25g of protein. Contains milk so if that’s not your thing, take it into consideration. Container says “combat veteran owned” with an American flag, so I hope this does help veterans in some way considering how little help they get from the American government.

   Where do I start with this awesome supplement! I like how American and proud this product is. This product knows what it stands for. I like that. Now onto the product itself. I am trying the banana hammock flavor, and I find it very interesting. It tastes good like a candy banana, similar to Laffy taffy banana flavor if you like banana flavored, this one is nice, but it does taste a bit artificial. The protein powder itself has 20 g of protein per serving, Which is a bit low compared to other protein powders that I’ve seen. However, it does seem enhanced with amino acids, which helps. It doesn’t mix the best as I mixed it for longer than normal and it still had some chunks in it. The flavor and texture was enjoyable though. It was a little bit frothy, but enjoyable. My batch expires about a year and three months after receiving it. Overall, four out of five stars.

   This protein powder (Tropical Vanilla flavor) has a great blend of amino acids and electrolytes — exactly what the body needs for post-workout recovery and hypertrophy. As it uses whey protein, the proteins will hit the bloodstream quickly, and being a powder, your protein shake can be ready with just a quick scoop-fill-and-shake. In terms of flavor, this tropical vanilla is actually delicious. At least at first taste — after that, the sweetness becomes cloyingly excessive. The preparation process is quick and simple, as previously stated, though this powder seems to clump more than some others I have tried, but I find that a shaker bottle with a mixer thing inside (that bounces around to help mix things) goes a long way, and as always, using cold cold water (or milk, if that’s your approach) can prevent much of the clumping. My one major criticism regards some of the dietary information. While I understand the fact that, for most people, dietary cholesterol has little effect on blood cholesterol, but 77mg per serving is excessive (particularly for people who are in a bulking stage and knocking back several of these a day). Worse is the inclusion of 6g of added sugars per serving — the powder is too sweet already, so the inclusion of yet more sweetness is confusing to me, especially considering the impact on the cardiovascular system associated with added sugars. Nonetheless, I imagine these nutrient details are irrelevant to most people. Furthermore, the ingredients list is exceedingly short for this category of food/beverage — all of those unpronounceable chemicals that swell most ingredient lists are delightfully absent here. Plus, nutrient gripes aside, the powder is otherwise a great product, perfect for post-workout recovery.

   This is a good protein mix & supplement. It is a little light on actual protein at only 20 grams of protein per serving. I generally like my protein mix to have at least 24 – 25 grams protein, and not a lot of other stuff in it. But still, this is a good tasting, solid protein mix here overall with good healthy nutrients. Made in the USA by Veterans it says, so that’s a plus in my book. Calories & ingredients are good. Still wish it had about 5 more grams protein per serving, so 1 star off for that.

    I like the chocolatey flavor of this protein powder and that it has an exceptional amount of amino acids. I always have a protein drink after my workouts and also in the mornings. This one has 20g of protein, which is the minimal amount I prefer to use. I don’t like that this product has more added sugars than others, but it does taste better and dissolves easily in water and milk.

    I decided to give this brand a try being I’ve heard of them before and I’m glad I did as it wasn’t a bad choice. Most of us are familiar with supplements and what whey protein powder is and it’s a great supplement for any type of training or recovery, whether it’s working out, cycling, martial arts, wrestling, you name it. This product could definitely help you out with your protein intake. Obviously, protein is going to help your recovery faster in however you train you’re going to rip the fibers of your muscles and protein is one of the first things that are going to help repair the growth of those muscles. Initially, I was going to give this a middle of the road 3-star review for a few reasons but stick with me here and finish this review. Starting first with the price, it is a little high on the price for this type of supplement given the supply amount and the most important part is the ingredients which I’ll get into. However, to be fair, I guess you can consider it fairly average due to the fact you can get really crummy brands that are around $15 to $20, I’m talking like a Publix brand that has been sitting on the shelf for a year all the way up to $80 brands from GNC. So, the money is not bad for what this product is in particular I feel it’s a little high and could be 10 to $15 cheaper because it’s pretty average across the board. That being said, this is where it brings us into the ingredients or the nutrients. First, I have to say, yes, it has a very cool logo, it has a tactical look like other brands I won’t name, you know that “look”, which I really can’t knock at all because it’s actually great marketing. Once I read a little bit more on the bottle, I understood why the logo or the “look” and it’s also why I gave it an extra star. So, for me personally, with 30 servings label and you’re going to use it as a dietary supplement whether before workout (which I would not suggest) and realistically you’re going to want to use this as a meal replacement or just for recovery. Next, when it comes to the actual amount of protein in here, we’re looking at about 20 grams and that’s stated on the bottle, that is pretty light considering when you match that to the serving size so that’s going to be 20 grams as a whole which realistically isn’t a lot compared to some other powders I have used and it just a factor to take into. I definitely can give this product credit when it comes to the amino acids it’s right about average and in some areas exceeding good amounts, for those that pay attention to what they’re putting in their body, you will know exactly what all this stuff does when ready the label and thus far it’s pretty spot on, so the amino acids portion is pretty decent. The calories per serving or scoop and realistically you’re only supposed to use a scoop but most people (let’s be real) they’re going to use a scoop or two so adding that to your caloric intake will put you around 260 calories per serving in just two scoops to get a decent sized protein shake Which also isn’t bad if you’re on a 1500 to 2000 caloric intake cut off. Everyone will be different depending on what you train in, or activities are so do not be too strict in your calorie counting but stay within your realm. Keep in mind, that caloric intake is also provided you just put it in water, which is going to be your best bet (in my opinion) as water, warm preferably will get this all in your body faster and not milk or some other beverage. I have seen people mix whey protein with some disgusted liquids and I’ll leave it at that. I do not suggest taking this before any type of workout or activity and if you do, you’re going to want to give yourself an hour at least before doing whatever it may be otherwise you will feel bloated or full, again it’s more for dietary purposes such as a meal replacement or mainly for recovery from a hard workout or training or sports, whatever the case may be. Now looking at the rest of the ingredients, there’s nothing that really stands out nutrition wise than any other product like this and that’s why I was initially giving it 3 stars based on the product alone. It’s not a poor product, it’s just a good average product that’s basically a middle of the road decent whey protein. The reason I feel they deserve an extra star even though it may not be based on the product itself, I love the fact that they are a veteran owned and operated source which is awesome, and apparently via their website and on the bottle, they deal with charity as well which is a win-win in any situation. So, if that’s the reason it’s a couple dollars more expensive than most of the proteins with the same stats but this one helps out veterans, I’m all for it. Finally, as there’s not too much I can say or go on about regarding whey protein, we all pretty much know what this supplement is, so, let’s talk about the most important part….the flavor! Now, most of us know most flavors are horrible no matter what they try, normally whey protein just tastes horrible. I have tried every flavor out their chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, cookie dough and so on. This tropical vanilla flavor is spot on! It’s definitely something different and it’s actually tastes pretty good. It’s not a flat vanilla it has a nice rich taste to it, and you can add things to your liking if you prefer. At the end of the day, I think it’s a good product. Although it is a very middle of the road whey protein powder when it comes to the supplements. The design and marketing are great, the bottle looks good, the flavor is great and you’re not really missing out on anything essential that your body would need and if so, we’re talking very few milligrams. It’s a product I can get behind for their cause, I love that it’s veteran owned and handled and I believe a bit of the proceeds go to charity as I said. So, it makes it very easy to support the business as well as the product. Good Product! 👍

    Out of the starting gate, the chocolate bomb flavor is very good. I mixed mine in a blender with milk and water and it tasted like a really good chocolate milk. I’ve been in the weight lifting game since the late 60’s, so I’ve had my fair share of protein powders. Taste wise, this really is one of the better ones. The overall sugar is a bit high and it also has sucralose listed on the label of ingredients. Price wise, it’s about average considering the protein grams per serving. The container itself is eye catching, so good job there! Now, would I buy it repeatedly? Considering the taste, grams of sugar, grams of protein per serving and price, I’d say “yes.” However, it wouldn’t be my main go to. I’d buy it every now and then for a change of pace. It’s a solid 4 stars.

    You usually can’t go wrong with chocolate protein and I think that’s the case here. This protein has a nice, albeit slightly artificial (which doesn’t bother me at all), chocolate flavor. It mixes up easily in just water with my shaker without any serious clumping and tastes great that way. Using almond milk does make it a richer/creamier milk chocolate type taste but I like it either way. Not a bad value either considering the cost of alternative brands.

    Banana is one of my favorite flavors and this protein powder did not disappoint. I mixed it in my personal blender with some crushed ice. I didn’t have to doctor it up at all and it was sooo good! The packaging may be off putting to some. I know I was surprised by it. Quite a military and pro-gun look to the packaging. I use whey protein powders to supplement my diet as I need extra protein due to bariatric surgery. I usually have a couple of drinks a day and I am happy to add Banana flavor to my routine. It mixed very well with no gritty residue and no funky aftertaste. I’ve tried a lot of different protein powders and this one is right at the top of my list.

The taste is really good, banana (artificial) and mix is pretty easy, not clumpy like some other protein powder I have tried in the past. Be sure to mix at least 8oz of water or up to 12oz.
