   Tried out a scoop with water and let me tell ya’: very sweet. Might be because of this, but my stomach started turning a bit after drinking. I’ve been taking protein powders for about 15 years and that’s a first. The protein to calorie ratio is really good though.

   The problem with many protein powders are both the taste and the texture. One thing I noticed straight away is how fine this powder is. Because of this mixing is very easy and the texture is smooth with no lumps. However in my opinion it’s too sweet and I’ve knocked a star off from 5 to 4. It comes with a scoop for easy portioning and if you mix it with other ingredients this can cut the sweetness. Of all the protein powders I’ve tried thus comes closest to being the best, it just needs a little adjustment on the sweetness front.

   4 stars is probably the best rating, since 3 makes it seem really bad and this product, based on the label isn’t a 5 start product in my opinion. as far as taste wise, if you the sweet taste of vanilla, not the vanilla bean vanilla then you’ll enjoy this. the product mixed well and didnt leave any clumps but the reason why to me, most folks who are serious about looking into other products would be the nutrition label. this protein content is on the upper low end of the range (between 20-30) and it’s really due to the different types of protein in the product. it’s not straight up isolate but rather a blend. the blend itself lends to a better texture than just isolates so that’s something i kept in mind. at roughly 150 calories, maybe i’m nitpicking but for some, that might be 40 more calories than your used to or if you want the texture mouthfeel, then this product is good

   My favorite protien is one that I know I can consistently drink. This stuff has a rich vanilla bean flavor. It also doesn’t include many of the extra stimulant type ingredients that some other protiens use so I feel okay using this later in the evenings. Good stuff!

   A very light but super clean vanilla is the best way to describe this protein. But it is actually perfect for me right now because I also got a second protein flavor that is extremely flavorful – almost too much so. When I take 1 scoop of this and 1/3 scoop of the other protein, I get the perfect flavor profile.

   The nutrition on this protein is solid, exactly what you’d expect. But what makes it stand out is that it also has a full digestive enzyme blend that should remove most stomach issues people could have with protein shakes. I usually have no issues but I’ll never complain that a company decides to make their protein more easily digested by everyone.

   Overall this protein really does need a bit more flavor to it to be a 5* product, but it’s a very strong 4* as is.
