   Pea protein powder is a high-quality protein rich in iron, arginine and branched-chain amino acids. It is generally considered an easy to digest protein and suitable for those with allergies to soy. The main difference between soy and pea protein lies in the amount of essential amino acids they contain. Pea protein has a higher leucine content than soy protein, so it is better for supplementing muscle growth and recovery. Additionally, pea protein tends to have a less allergenic profile than soy protein. However, peas similarly to soybeans, may be derived from farming operations that use harsh agrochemicals. The Detox Project found some pea protein products have been contaminated with the herbicide residue, glyphosate. This supplement does state that it is domestically produced at Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility. GPM is a system for ensuring that pharmaceutical products are consistently produced and controlled according to high quality standards. Still, I believe at $56 for 15 servings this is a quite pricey option on bestproteinpowder4women.net.

   This protein mix is very fine with no clumping. It does contain silica dioxide so you may want to stay away if that’s something you prefer not to drink. The powder mixes well and there was little to no settling in my shaker bottle. I can taste the pea protein in the mix however it’s not overbearing and the coco flavor compliments and mellows that taste for me. My body tolerated it very well with no excess gas or cramping. I prefer the taste of whey protein however this is a good alternative.

   This is a blend of 5 different plant based proteins. It doesn’t blend nearly as well as whey based proteins, but blends ok for a plant protein. I mixed this with banana, frozen pineapple, coldbrew coffee, and milk. It is slightly thicker than my comfort level (this is normal and to be expected with plant proteins), but tastes fine and works well for me.

   I add mine to my hot coffee or tea in the morning and I find that it settles to the bottom. I’m sure some gets mixed but there is quite a bit at that is sludge. Flavor is ok but has a slight after taste. I’ve only used a couple times.

   I am writing this review after almost finishing the entire jar to give an honest review. It mixes well and taste great and the price is right – good value for the money. I am ready to order this again. There are so many plant-based protein supplement out there, but this one taste great with water or with a shake and is clean. Ivr had other olant based protein and they taste awful. In addition to that, this does not get clumpy like other protein powder. Very good blending power. Be very careful with what is offered out there as this is a big business. After using this product and almost finished to the bottom of the barrel, I can give this an A+++++!
