   The flavor is fine, good actually. But the texture! I really have trouble not gagging. I have to just swallow it as fast as I can. I knead the pouch over and over and shake it and knead it some more. But it doesn’t change the texture. It’s just weird, like smooth and lumpy at the same time. I really wish it wasn’t that way, because it’s basically a good product, and very handy. But I just can’t do it. I will finish what I have, it’s too pricey to waste

   I started going to the gym late at night and needed something to give me energy but not too much that I couldn’t go back to sleep afterwards. These lil pouches do just that! I drink one at home and by the time I get to the gym, I can feel the energy and motivation kicking in! I understand other reviews stating they’re chunky, but I’m pretty sure the seller stated those are fruit chunks inside the pouches. They taste fine to me, so I’m not bothered by it. The taste is a bit off, I will say, they don’t taste exactly how I thought they would and they may even be an acquired taste. I got the one with pineapple in it because I love the mixed berry flavor that comes with it. I DESPISE pineapple but, surprisingly, these smoothies were tolerable for me. Then again, I’ll eat almost anything and not complain. So if you’re sensitive to textures or tastes, this may not be the best purchase for you. If you’re looking for some quick, healthy energy without all the calories, this is it!

    I’m shook, that something so expensive and marketed as “designer wellness” would ever be this nasty. The texture is goopy and chunky simultaneously and while I got it out the refrigerator, it was still room temp. This tasted nothing like tropical fruit and everything like hell.     I love that these can be stored at room temperature or they can be refrigerated. The flavor is true to strawberry banana without the protein flavor. Cap is easy to open. Expiration date is plenty in the future.

    There are weird lumps that are not very pleasing to the texture. I thought it was spoiled but the date is 8/2023. I would be fine with a smooth yogurt-like texture, but this is horrible. I tried kneading and squeezing, but the lumps do not go away. I hate that I wasted so much money on these, I should have stuck with my Oikos Triple Zero.

    I ordered this product to have a ready-to-grab snack, just in case. For my use case, it worked just fine. I like the tangy taste of fruits in this product. The texture is thick and a bit chalky; it might not appeal to everyone. The product fills you a bit, allowing to sustain until the proper meal. My only problem with it might be the price – $72 for a 24-pack (at the time of the review). But overall, I liked this product.

    Designer Wellness pouches do pack the most solid good ingredients without weird stuff, albeit only for those who can afford them… The Mixed Berry Protein smoothie tastes great, you can taste all the fruits in there, as well as the whey and there is a protein power taste to it as well. There are small chunky stuff in the texture, almost like when you grind up fruits but not to the point of liquidity. 12 grams of high quality protein in 4.2 oz pouch and I definitely find myself slurping and trying to get the last bit out of the pouch. It doesnt need refrigeration but I enjoy it cold, so I throw one in the ice bag I carry to carry our baby/kid snacks and then there is something for me as well.

    It’s a protein item so yeah it’s going to have a different taste and texture since there are actual fruit bits in it. But they are better than most other protein heavy items. I like them better cold.

    These on the go smoothies taste pretty good. I can totally taste the mango and peach in it. It also contains MCT oil, which helps in aiding in fat absorption issues, weight management, boosting energy for exercise, and easing inflammation. This smoothie also has added sugar which is great and only 6 grams natural sugar thats only 1 and 1/2 teaspoon. I love the portability of the shake and the size, it’s not so big that it takes forever to consume. It great, because when I’m craving something sweet, I can just grab this and it satisfies me and is very good for you. The price at $71.49 is ok, you recieve 24 4.02 ounce packets, that’s $2.97 a packet, a decent deal for a ready made healthy totally portable shake.

    I am not a huge fan of squeezie type fruits, yogurts and smoothies. My kids have always liked them, but something about the idea of squeezing a packet directly into my mouth, isn’t super appetizing to me. But, since these smoothies are made by a very reputable and trustworthy company that is fairly local for me, I thought they would be worth giving a try. The packaging is of course cute, colorful and aesthetically pleasing, but I can’t tell you that I love these smoothies. To me, they are much more like yogurt than a smoothie because of the thick consistency. I couldn’t even finish the whole thing because it is so filling so I guess if you are following a super low or no sugar, high protein diet, this could be a great thing to grab on the go, when you are in a pinch for a proper meal. It tasted like raspberry passion fruit yogurt, but does have a bit of an aftertaste of sorts…slightly tart and tangy, just not my favorite taste. I might have liked the blueberry vanilla flavor better to be honest because I guess I like things to be less tart and more mild and sweet. These are fairly pricey at over three dollars per so again, if you need protein for on the go that doesn’t require refrigeration and you are trying to avoid added sugars, this could be a option. I am glad I tried them, but would probably prefer to stick to my various gluten free protein bars for on the go snack convenience.

    I was hopeful to have found a product that I could stomach, that would give me more options but I do not like them at all!
    I figured I would take the chance, but now I am trying to figure out what I was thinking as they are expensive too! It just stinks to realize you spent money on something you will not end up using. I don’t know if I can return the rest, but I doubt it since it’s “food” and everything. They just have this really strange flavor… it is sort of ab after taste, or maybe a ” just as you are swallowing” taste, but initially, when you first sip it, it’s not bad. The consistency is fine, smooth 👌 but once it hits those taste buds on the back of your tongue… its just gross.

    Designer Wellness protein smoothies 12 count Blueberry Vanilla. Gluten free, low carb, 12g protein, zero added sugar, non-gmo. Contains dairy. Sweetened with monk fruit, fyi. These came well packaged in 2 boxes with 6 pouches each. It states on the back no refrigeration necessary, yet refrigerate after opening, which is a bit contradictory. Consume within 24 hrs. I love the twist-top pouch design. It reminds me of the applesauce pouches for kids. These would be great for on the go or a mess free and convenient breakfast. Sadly, the taste is a big letdown. The consistency reminds me of the gogurt tubes. It’s thicker like yogurt, not liquidy like a smoothie. At first I loved the initial natural blueberry flavor, unfortunately it’s closely followed by a sharp and bitter aftertaste. I can only attribute it to the monk fruit and sunflower oil. Hubby spat his out and said they were gross. I’ve had Monk fruit before so I can tolerate it, but I wouldn’t get these again. I’m unsure why the added sunflower oil is necessary. Some products with these new sweeteners can pull it off, but this is NOT one. I wouldn’t recommend due to the high cost + aftertaste.

    This product arrived on time and was well packaged. As a senior in my mid-70’s I have found that this protein smoothie gives me the extra boost that I appreciate with my daily walks and occasional time at the gym. The drink itself is a bit thicker than usual, but the taste is very refreshing. I enjoy mine at lunchtime. The price point is a bit high, but I am halfway through the shipment of 24 packs so I will see if I will proceed to order more. At this point, I am pleased to say that I have had no negative reactions to this protein smoothie product.

    These taste fruity, a bit sweet despite no added sugar. From the list of ingredients I mainly taste berry, banana, and sunflower / whey, in that order. There’s a dash of apple in there. It does have an after taste but I disagree with the other reviewer who described it as “chalk”. It taste like sunflower oil or whey after taste if you ever tasted other similar drinks with that taste you’ll know it. If you drink it chilled it’s less noticeable to me. The drink is not smooth and a bit chunky like baby food. I think it’s the texture plus the after taste of sunflower oil or something that makes it a bit weird. But again, if you chill it, it makes it much better. The fruit flavors do in fact taste like actual fruit and not some chemically engineered taste. Aside from taste, 12g of protein in a small little 120 calories pouch is amazing. After a workout I gulp this down (chilled) within a minute. It’s actually quite refreshing. It’s very convenient to carry and store too. But like I said it’s a night and day difference for me when its room temp versus chilled.
