   I specifically bought this because they show it’s for the “micronized” bottle in the picture. When they send the wrong one and you try to get proper replacement you go through the circle of being told to submit a return request and then the return request ultimately tells you it’s not eligible for return (because seller doesn’t allow it even though they sent wrong item and only received today). Ultimately bestproteinpowder4women.net customer service took good care of me but unnecessary pain going through this process for an incorrect item sent by seller. This version of creatine is gritty and never fully mixes in drink. I ordered the micronized version because it almost completely dissolves and is much more enjoyable. Seller, if you no longer ship the version with the picture you have on ad it should be updated to ensure expectations are met.

   Product is good. Packaging is awful. The container is large for no reason and the scoop is for a smaller container. You can’t get your hand and the scoop in to get the product out. The container needs to be smaller or the scoop handle needs to be longer. If you have small hands you might be able to reach in there. Average to normal size hands, good luck.

   The quality of the tasteless Creatine seems great. Product is fine but packaging could use some upgrades. I never knew there was a serving scoop until I poured one container into another as there is so much space in the plastic jar that you can add the second jar of creatine into a combined single jar and save space. I am sure the answer is “settling” but I say its a marketing eye candy for a larger container of product with only half of the jar filled inside. You might as well bring out a new box knife to trim a neat circle to unscrew the lid. I did not have success opening a single jar without tearing the front label. Also, there is no adhesive on the label so it just falls off. Honestly the label is so loose on the jar that you have to tighten up your grip as a mixture of powder behind the label and not being glued makes it slip while trying to unscrew the lid. I ordered four jars and decided to weigh two of them and saw that both were over the promised 400g. That is a little bonus. I hate to waste and since the jars are not clear I will have to toss them as I like to recycle and use as visible storage containers but my heart is just not into these jars for an after life. Now to get some in a flavor to see how that is. By dollar to amount of product I do feel this is the best value I could find so sometimes the savings comes at a cost (packaging in this case). One jar did have a lot of loose external powder and the jar did not seem to have a leak unless the vent on the foil seal was part of it. Also, use a knife to remove the aluminum seal. The seal is so melted to the jar that it breaks off in small chunks.

    I like this creatine because it’s simple (it’s just creatine) and dissolves well, especially in warm or hot liquids. I’ve researched this and you don’t damage the creatine by mixing it in hot liquids. I would avoid boiling liquids too. And despite some flawed research a few years ago, there’s no evidence that mixing creatine with caffeine diminishes its effectiveness at all. I mix it with my coffee and so far I seem to be getting all the benefits. My workouts have improved. I feel stronger. I haven’t documented any additional lean body mass yet, but I do feel anecdotally that my musculature has improved since starting on the creatine. I only gave it 4 starts mostly because of the scoop. It needs a longer handle for easier scooping and to make the scoop easier to pick out of the powder.

    I purchased this MuscleTech Platinum creatine monohydrate powder because I usually get creatine from my local superstore, but they were out for a week, and I needed to keep my levels up so I wouldn’t have to go through another loading phase. I couldn’t believe the price because it was so low compared to what I had been buying, so I was very skeptical. This tub arrived, and it was smaller than I thought it would be. It has 80 servings of 5 mg of creatine, and I was buying a pretty good sized bottle of horse pills that were 1.2 mg of creatine each, so I was having to take 5 a day. I was shocked at the serving size and scoop size of this stuff… It’s tiny! Why are my pills huge when this scoop is so small? For value for the money, it gets 5 stars. I tested the claims on this product that it dissolves completely and has no taste. I put one scoop in 16 ounces of water which is way more than should be needed to dissolve it and dilute the flavor. I tasted it and could clearly taste the creatine. Then, I did a taste test with one tumbler of plain water and one with water and creatine, and I could easily detect which one had the creatine powder in it. It didn’t taste bad, it just had a plain taste. Also, it had a minutely chalky effect on the water. So for claims that it is tasteless, it gets 3/5 stars. I shook it for a few minutes and drank it, shaking it again before every chug. When I was done, there was a fair amount of the substance in the bottom of the 16 oz bottle, and I had been shaking it vigioursly. So for claims that it dissolves quickly and easily, it gets 1/5 stars. Once I added sugar-free sports drink mixes into the drink, I couldn’t detect the creatine, so it hides itself well. I just know when I’m done I have to splash some water in the bottom and chug it before it settles to get the rest of the creatine because it doesn’t dissolve. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this product. It’s much cheaper and much easier to take than the name-brand creatine monohydrate pills I was taking before. I will continue to use this product and highly recommend it to anyone who works out. 4/5 stars

    As the product, I tend to like it, but I must check into others to see if I can find better. I bought because of reviews then when I experienced a heart reaction from an over dose using the pictured large spoon which came in the canister and followed the directions of 4 times a day.. I stopped using it.. but started using a fragment of the product dose believing that the dose was way too much for me.. and I was right.. but as I continued to use it I found the smaller scoop way at the bottom.. Which most likely is proper size.. I know someone was trying to kill me.. and that apparently my packages are being tampered with!!! I need an attorney!!!

    I’ve used MuscleTech products for many many years and have been satisfied with their products. I have also used the Platinum Creatine powder a few times before and never had any complaints. Unfortunately, this time has been the exception. When the product arrived I immediately noticed that the container sounded like it was full of rocks. Upon opening it, I found the powder was hard and lumpy as if it had gotten too much moisture and then dried again. I broke the lumps apart thinking that once I added some water it would dissolve and everything would be fine. Wrong! When I mixed the creatine with water, the lumps didn’t dissolve and I was left with chunks of gravel-like lumps. It’s unusable. It was a good price so it’s really not worth the cost to return, but I certainly with never purchase this specific brand again without being able to pick up the container in the store and shaking it to determine if it’s full of concrete. Very disappointed. I usually like MuscleTech but this has made me want to find another go-to brand.

    There world in which I use this creatine is very open, which is to say there are a great many variables to consider when attempting to assess the efficacy of this product. Thus I do not endeavor to opine on the impact this has on my training.

    What I can say is that it stirs into water easily and has such a mild taste that I don’t mind it in just water, and I don’t notice it when mixed in with a protein powder.
