Obviously unflavored bone broth does not mean “No Flavor”, so I was expecting to have some sort of flavor to this bone broth.
However there is a very noticeable tang in this product that is hard to mask… In smoothies, or cooking, or just drinking it in hot water, I couldn’t escape the strange zing from this brand.
If I decide to give this brand another go, I will update on flavor in case I was just unlucky to get a batch, as some reviews have noted, some times people who have purchased this a few times seem have noted a distinct change in taste on some batches. But seeing as this purchase has that weird and potent taste and aftertaste, it’s taking me a fairly long time to get through the tub.

The best in the west!!! We put this in our coffee every morning, mix it into Greek yogurt, add it to scrambled eggs and omelets, add it while cooking vegetables, etc.. Mixes and dissolves really well with no clumping. Excellent product. One of the best Bovine based Collagen Protein Powders I have used. Really helps with nail and hair growth, in addition to strengthening our bones, cartilage, etc.

I used up the container, can’t really say for sure what it does, but I liked the idea that I’m getting something that is supposedly pretty similar to beef broth that is made by boiling bones all day the way older Europeans and good cooks do. That just seems like a good thing to add to my diet now and again.
Can’t say what I noticed, because I mix it with many other things, but the quality and the texture, dissolvability, and so on, seemed fine.

This is a clean, neutral tasting and smelling, easy to dissolve bone broth. I add salt to taste (often some Redmond’s Re-lyte electrolytes). I made a cozy mug of bone broth with this powder nearly every morning of our summer road trip and thoroughly enjoyed each cup. I ordered another container of bone broth powder but was upset to find the consistency, texture, and smell/taste of the product was different than my first container. I contacted customer service and they promptly looked into the batch quality. In the meantime, they refunded my purchase and sent a smaller container (from another batch). They have since determined my container likely was subjected to moisture but this issue seems isolated to my container rather than the whole batch. I highly recommend this product and will personally continue using this convenient and tasty broth.
