   The main thing I want to write about is the flavor. I saw so many reviews saying the flavor was bad and it almost turned me off to buying this. The day I got it in the mail and made myself a drink, I used one scoop and about 8 oz of milk. Side note, the scoop was absolutely /buried/ in the powder, I had to dig around for five minutes to find it, thinking that they just forgot to include one. After mixing everything, I felt the result was way too thick (and a little chunky as well, which I couldn’t get rid of just by mixing with a spoon.) In part due to the thickness, the result was a little sweeter than I wanted to stomach–keeping in mind that I tolerate less sweet than the average person. The other two times I’ve made it I added about an ounce or two more liquid (for one scoop), and today I used a smoothie cup to shake it instead of stirring, and both of those changes have made it great in my opinion.

   In the past, I’ve drank Muscle Milk, Koia, and others, and I find this to taste close to if not the best. I did a lot of math when looking at this versus other options, and for the amount of protein per serving and the volume of the product, it’s really not a bad price. I think it was just slightly more than some other options and I was willing to pay a smidge extra for some of the qualities.

   This is by far the cheapest protein powder out there which is great except it makes me question the protein accuracy. I’ve had both vanilla and chocolate and It’s great stuff as far as taste and mixing go, and happy to see one with artificial sweetener’s because of lower calories. If they truly are honest, its a great deal, but I’m not for sure. I see a lot of people complaining about the formula and flavors, honestly for me the flavor of the vanilla is great still. It would be nice to see the magnesium and phosphorus back in the formula though. As far as gut effects, as long as your not eating it dry there’s not rly any issues. Great product, would be nice to know if the company is honest with protein content. – A 17 year old Gym rat

    Flavor is on point idk at least the chocolate flavor I see some complain about the taste but to me it tastes absolutely delicious as far as ingredients it’s got a creatine monohydrate but I’m not a big fan of creatine but not a deal breaker I included pics of the supplement facts it does have a good amount of amino acids in it also but it doesn’t hurt to stack a separate supplement of amino acids I drink amino acids while I work out definitely would recommend this

    I have to use protein supplement because I’ve had gastric sleeve surgery. I stumbled upon Body Fortress when it was the least expensive brand that provided the proper amount of protein per serving. I doubt that there is any brand that actually tastes like chocolate milk, let alone a milkshake, but Body Fortress tastes ok and works for me. When mixing with milk, I actually prefer the vanilla, as it tastes more shake-like and has less aftertaste than the chocolate. I’ve tried the strawberry, but didn’t care for it at all and ended up blending it with chocolate and vanilla to get rid of it. But tastes vary, so you may like flavors that I don’t. I mostly use the chocolate, and I usually mix it in decaf coffee. I make one pot (8 cups) coffee, one scoop of chocolate Body Fortress and one serving of Benefiber (I also have to take daily fiber supplements) and blend them together. I often add a touch of cinnamon and/or half of an overripe banana to add a little pizazz. A large dollop of honey really tops it off nicely. In summertime I make the coffee the night before I want to drink it and keep it in the fridge overnight for an iced coffee drink the next day. Hot or cold, it’s a great way to get the protein I need.

I agree that the “amazing new taste” does not taste good. It is worse than it used to be. Final Thoughts: I would recommend this and I would buy it again. It is a great value. I honestly don’t care too much about the taste. I use this product for its nutrition, because I need protein, so the taste is kind of irrelevant.     I’ve been using pretty much every brand of isolate, and I’m just sick of it. They taste bland and after buying over 10+ 5lb tubs over the years, you get sick of the watery flavor. People criticize this brand for having a “misleadingly” huge scoop, but the nutrition label clearly states how many scoops you’re getting out of the container. Even purely on a protein/$ calculation, this brand is one of the cheapest per gram of protein. And let me tell you, it tastes way better than an isolate. it’s like trying to eat a steak or burger that’s 99% lean, yes it’s healthier, but it tastes much worse. This powder will work much better for recipes etc. The better taste and sanity it provides is worth the extra grams of fat. The macros are still good at 200 cal and 30g protein per scoop, most protein powders need to be mixed with milk anyways to taste decent, but this one doesn’t. It tastes like hot cocoa. Just heat it up and throw some marshmallows. You got yourself a healthier and sustainable treat instead of depraving yourself of taste in pursuit of the best macros. The only thing that tastes better is syntha 6 cold stone, but after finishing 3 different tubs, I’ll be the first to tell you it’s not worth it. those things give you gas unlike anything else, pretty sure it’s the digestive enzymes they put in the powder, because nothing has ever come close to syntha 6 levels of gas. So just get this

    This formula in the larger container actually tastes smoother than the smaller one. It keeps me full while prepping for my gastric bypass. And it even tastes more chocolate-ier Haha. I recommend!     I’ve had a lot of protein powder in my 27 years around the sun. This does the job well, great for recovery after workouts and I take atleast 1 scoop a day minimum even in rest days. You can’t beat this product for value for money and quality. If you want a better quality protein powder pay the extra for it, but if you’re on a budget and just getting into training or have been lifting for a few years this is a decent quality “bang for your buck” product. Taste great with milk, water or other milk alternatives like oat milk. Good in cereal and yoghurt too. I get chocolate because it tastes the best in my opinion. 5lbs for $35 and I see people complaining – well if you want something that tastes like candy go buy candy fat ass, it’s protein powder not ice cream.

    Love all 3 flavors i ordered (chocolate, banana, and strawberry. I will say, strawberry surprised me, it tastes great compared to other brands of similar flavors. Strawberry and banana creme both taste similar to what you would taste from a “cheap” ice cream, which in the world of protein shakes, is excellent. If i had to recommend a flavor, of these 3, i would vote strawberry. I’ll be ordering 3 new flavors on December 26th and will update probably around January 5th on 3 more flavors.
