Great way to get a bit of extra dairy-free protein. No noticeable bad flavor. Have incorporated into smoothies, pancakes, waffles, cookies. The more you use in baked items, the more it changes the structure (makes them quite soft, they burn more easily), but that is a trade-off I am willing to work around or endure while adding in a bit more protein. There’s a nice simple recipe for a gluten free, dairy free peanut butter oatmeal chocolate chip (soft) cookie on Bob’s Red Mill site, I subbed Just Egg for the egg allergic crowd and they worked great, at least 5 g protein per small cookie.

The downside with this stuff is that you have to use a lot of it (1/3 c. is a lot for a single serving). Plus side is that this is the only protein powder that doesn’t have a weird gross taste/aftertaste. Truly pretty neutral flavor for putting in smoothies and things.

Used for protein shakes.
Taste is decent. Bland.
Mix with some fruit and it’s perfect.
Gluten free.
Reasonable price on bestproteinpowder4women.net.
At store more expensive.
Recommended for those that need gluten free protein drinks and tired of eggs peanut butter.

It doesn’t leave that weird chalky texture and has a very nice, light almond flavor. Bob’s Red Mill makes the best protein powders. I miss the pea protein one but this is an excellent alternative.

This is a decent protein powder, I use in my breakfast smoothie! You get a good amount for the price and it does not taste bad.

I personally like all the Red Mill products. The almond powder is one of my favorite
proteins for smoothies. It’s pure, no additives and mixes beautifully in many foods besides shakes.
