   Wondercow chocolate protein powder: I’ve never purchased protein powder that had colostrum, but it makes sense that it would offer good nutrients. The company appears to be concerned with ethics and health, which is important to me. The product itself didn’t mix well for me; by hand, by personal blender, or by an immersion blender, I was left with small moistened clumps and a messy glass. Is there a technique I didn’t understand? At any rate, I want my protein powder to mix easily with a spoon. The taste is similar to other chocolate protein powders I’ve tried; I personally wish they could leave out the stevia as stevia is too sweet for my middle-aged tongue, and I don’t care for the aftertaste. But I credit them for using actual cocoa powder instead of flavoring, using grass-fed beef, and using no antibiotics. I think some people will like the taste and others won’t, but it’s a quality product.

   I’ve tried many brands of protein powder, and this, unfortunately, is not great. The quality of the protein seems good from what I can tell (though it would be helpful if the packaging gave more information). The taste is pretty bad. This is one I have to “choke down” if I’m drinking it with unsweetened almond milk. I had better luck putting it in a smoothie with fruit and other ingredients to help mellow out the taste. I think it would be substantially better without the sweetness, or even if the sweetness was cut in half. Protein powders don’t need to be insanely sugary sweet tasting, which I suspect is where the weird taste is coming from.

   This Wondercow beef protein in creamy chocolate is really good. Its easy to mix and easy on my stomach. The chocolate flavor is nice and smooth and its lightly sweetened. The powder arrived very fresh with an expiration date out over a year and a half from receiving it.

   This protein powder gets 4-5 stars because it has great protein content, mixes very easily, and tastes great. The chocolate is not too intense, smooth and creamy just as described! I rated 5 stars but could also see it as 4 stars partly because the price is a little higher than comparable products, but more importantly, it’s not clear what the actual protein source is? They say “Beef Protein” and it says it contains milk… So is it bone broth protein with some milk additives for flavor / texture? Or is it just whey protein and they’re hiding something? Very disappointed in the lack of transparency here so buyer beware: if you have milk/lactose issues or whey protein gives you problems this might not be the solution. It was fine for me and I liked it, so I ended up sticking with 5 stars, but I think the packaging and ingredient information could be better.

   I love this protein powder.

   As a test, I used a frother (with low battery level) to mix one scoop into about 12 ounces of cold 1% milk. As you can see in the video, it didn’t mix 100% completely; it left just the tiniest bits on top mixed with the froth, but it was still easily drinkable. And the flavor was a nice chocolate flavor, even with no sugar.

   Then, I used it like I always do: mixed with a banana, a raw egg, skim milk, ice, and a little chocolate milk, and in a blender on medium speed. It mixed perfectly fine, and my protein shake was as good or better than any other chocolate flavored protein powder that I have used before.

   You can read for yourself, in the description, the short list of ingredients (a good thing, of course), so I won’t repeat them here.

   One thing I think they missed putting on the label is “How much liquid to use?” It is in the description on this page to use 8 – 12 ounces of your favorite beverage, but I didn’t see that on the label of the product. I use more than 12 ounces in my breakfast shake, but as I said before, in my test I used 12 ounces of milk. I think this is sort-of like coffee…some people like more or less water in their coffee. Just use as much or as little as you need for your taste,

   I hope this review was helpful, and I highly recommend this good-tasting chocolate protein powder with no additives, fillers, GMO, or sugar.

   This is a great way to get protein intake that is keto friendly and gluten friendly. I love that is sugar free and made with stevia. It is low carb at only 2G per serving. This is made with cocoa so it has a chocolate flavor. Just blend it with water and it dissolves well. It can be also used with almond or coconut milk. This has 30 servings so can last 30 days. I use this as a meal replacement. Also, it’s made in the USA and is non-GMO.

   I’ve tried so many protein powders over the years. This is hands down the best one I’ve ever had. I’ll start with the flavor, which is absolutely amazing. When I lived in Belize they made the best chocolate shakes from cacao beans which produced this deep natural chocolate flavor. This reminded me of that so much. It mixes very well in a shaker bottle. The best thing about this protein powder are the ingredients. I don’t know the last time I had something with so few ingredients, where I recognize every single one of them. This is a high quality product. What I really appreciate about this brand is they chose to sweeten it with stevia, rather than the other horrible sweeteners so many companies use to cut costs but still overcharge. This will definitely be my go to from now on. Edit: Had to come back to edit my review. Yesterday I used my usual popular chocolate protein powder. I had never tried to mix it in my coffee before. I mixed it the same as I have been mixing this protein powder. Worst thing I’ve done, it didn’t mix at all and just floated to the top in huge clumps and it was so gross. No matter how much I mixed it wouldn’t dissolve. Another great reason this protein powder is a great quality and well with it!
