   Okay so while this is a good product, it is just protein powder with ashwagandha, charged at a price that in general is much higher than what protein powders cost with the exception of some “botique” or “designer” brands. I enjoyed trying it and do think its a good product though. Those sensitive to ashwagandha should be cautious in the amount they consume though

   Update: After an extended vacation from my typical exercise routine, I re-started my workouts. I expected an extreme amount of soreness and pain after, but was pleasantly surprised that the soreness was minimal. Was this the Ashwagandha? I’m not sure, but it is an observation.

   There are many claimed benefits of Ashwagandha, including use as an anti-inflammatory, an aid for lowering blood pressure, reducing stress and anxiety, allowing better sleep, and other things. I have never tried it before, so this will be my first experience. I will hope to combine the benefits of it with the whey protein to help build stamina and muscle mass during workouts with the added benefits of an anti-inflammatory relief for after workout aches and pains. This will be updated as I use it over time. The scoop seems very large, and I plan to only use 3/4 of a scoop in my drink supplement.

   This is a high quality protein powder. In addition,it add ashwagadah in it to make it more attractive. Of course, the price is higher than regular protein powder. The flavor is nice and power is easy to mix. The only question is better to combine with ashwagandah.

   Interesting concept – take a $35-45 range protein powder and make it $70 by add Ashwagandha. The problem is if I want to take Ashwagandha I’d rather source it from a vendor that is known for their quality of that supplement. And of course if you purchased e.g., tablets, you’d be able to dial in the amount of Ashwagandha without worrying if you are taking in too little or too much protein.

   If we look at the protein powder as another brand on the market I don’t care so much if it’s whey vs casein but does it taste great? If the protein powder tasted amazing, maybe you could justify the price. But the mixability of this powder isn’t that great (definitely need a blender) and the taste is frankly OK. Not bitter and not overly sweet. But nothing that tastes so great its worth this price.

   I got this to try it out in my regular shakes (I like to mix in some almond milk once in a while) and so far it tastes great. This brand is interesting because it also has Ashwagandha which has a whole other range of benefits.

   Overall I’m happy with this brand and will get more in the future.

   I use this with my morning breakfast shake so I can avoid the afternoon dip in energy. It has helped that, but also I have noticed an overall improvement in my daily “feel”. I have more energy, I have better sleep, and I am recover from my runs alot faster.

   I’ve tried a variety of different protein powders and this one is pretty good. It has a good vanilla flavor, mixes well without a blender, and has a decent ingredient list without too many unwanted add-ins. It’s unclear how much of the flavor is natural vanilla vs other artificial flavor, and I can tell you the flavor is good but not the best vanilla I have tried. The best I have tried was from 100% natural vanilla. The ashwagandha is a nice addition and fortunately it does not seem to cause any noticeable flavor issues but it’s easy enough to supplement separately if desired, so it’s only a small plus to me. This powder is on the more expensive side, and while it compares well with other powders across the board it’s not the best I have seen in any category to be able to justify a price tag of over $60 for less than 2 pounds. If this seems like a perfect fit for you because of the ashwagandha then I would go ahead and purchase.

   The nutritional facts on this protein are what you are looking for. It helps provide energy, and focus, as well as high performance and recovery. I did give it a four for the taste.
