   Whey protein is a tricky one. Most whey based protein powders give me stomach cramps. My chiropractor recommended this brand because they are very clean and usually easier to digest. My father and I gave it a try. He got the chocolate flavor and I stuck with the vanilla. There are four ingredients (which is hard to beat unless you go unflavored). It’s flavored with stevia, which tends to make things very sweet. It is sweet, but I don’t find it unbearable. I’m used to vegan proteins, which tend to have a few more ingredients to account for protein. Upon opening, the protein looks very fine and powdery. I had no problem mixing it with some nut milk/water and a shaker ball. It is expensive, but most protein powders are expensive. You could always supplement with the unflavored protein if you need more protein (as those tend to be cheaper). I I’m okay with splurging on clean, quality products, as I know my body will thank me later. As for taste, the vanilla is pretty decent and basic. It tastes like vanilla. I do think I prefer the chocolate, however, I have been using both when I want a shake in the morning. I mix a scoop of one flavor, with a little of the other, and blend it with some kind of milk (usually walnut milk), ice, and fiber. I found this gives it a thicker consistency and I can eat some of it with a spoon. My tastebuds do get confused, because it tastes like ice cream. I also find having ricecakes with something on the salty side after helps balance the sweetness of it. I don’t do this everyday, but it is a nice change. I haven’t used it much, so I can’t account for cramps quite yet. We seem to be okay, thus far. I will continue to update as I experiment with this protein to make sure my stomach stays less crampy and that I can mix with other items (like overnight oats, chia seeds, or protein ball).

   I really like that this protein has clean ingredients when most others have artificial sweeteners. I blend mine in the bullet because I don’t like when it stays gritty if you just shake it. It has a slight after taste due to the whey, but overall it is pleasant to drink. It’s not cheap, but I would rather pay more for clean ingredients than drink fake sweeteners and other stuff the other brands use. I recommend it. I like the vanilla and chocolate. I’ll try the peanut butter chocolate but it does have a higher sodium content.

   Antler Farms Whey Protein Isolate has been a game changer for me. The flavor is clean and naturally good—no weird aftertaste like some other brands. It mixes easily and doesn’t feel heavy at all.    Bland tasting chocolate, not sweet enough. It’s still consumable but not enjoyable.
   Also the packet once opened is unsealable. So you’d have to transfer it to another container or bag to keep to air tight, which is troublesome and time consuming. Disappointing.

   I have used unflavored and flavored whey protein from various producers for the last 10 years. I want to try Antler Farms due to positive reviews and paid $32 per pound. Even expiration date is labelled as 08/2025 when I opened, I smell old and expired whey protein that taste horrible (Taste of whey protein is nothing to do with flavor, good whey protein is smooth and taste good without or with flavor). This particular lot may have issue, but it is a trap and waste of money. I recommend others not to waste money with Antler Farms products.

   Hello, I just wanted to write a quick review out of pure appreciation for this protein powder, I’m not being paid at all to write this. Its rare I come across a protein powder that doesn’t give me headaches or make me feel dizzy. This antler farms powder has been everything I’ve been looking for. It gives me a good pump, as in good blood flow to all of my muscles. I’ve noticed it helps speed up recovery time when working out a new muscle group (helps speed up the soreness period). And I have also of course noticed more gains. The taste is amazing, I would compare it to a vanilla milkshake from an ice cream shop like Cold Stone. I have perfected my protein shake recipe with this powder, and I will share it with you all: 3/4 Cup of old fashioned organic Oats. 1 Cup of organic whole milk. 1 Scoop of this Antler Farms new zealand vanilla whey isolate protein powder 1 Tablespoon of organic creamy salted peanut butter 1 organic dark chocolate peanut butter cup. 4 ice cubes.     i had the chocolate version before no problems using frother ingredients and taste on point but ordering the vanilla was annoying i received it damaged and no one decided to change it before it was shipped it ruined my other items in my order they all have a vanilla smell not cool

    I use the Vanilla Antler Farms Whey Protein because I am following the Metabolic Factor Diet and start every morning with a shake. The vanilla allows me to add any fruit or other flavor without masking the taste of what I added. I had to have “grass fed” whey protein and this was the best tasting one I have found. It blends well and is high quality. I have peace of mind knowing the cows are well taken care of and can graze.

    I was very much looking forward to a low ingredient clean whey protein. Happy with the ingredients and the taste, however it doesn’t dissolve at all in cold liquids. In fact, you get large clumps, even when mixed in a shaker cup. The only way to dissolve is either in hot water with a frother, or a high speed blender. Photo is after dissolving in hot water and using a frother – still get settled chunks!
