   Three Stars were given because this appears to be a high sodium electrolyte replacement drink with collagen in it, instead of the straight forward Collagen supplement it appears to be at first glance. Unfortunately, in order for me to get the amount of Collagen I’ve been taking, 21 g, I’d also be getting 1130 mg of sodium– half the Recommended Daily Allowance, which for me would not be healthy. PROS: 1. For Marathon Runners, Bodybuilders and folks that need it the extra sodium, this looks like a fine electrolyte replacement drink (?). Although even with one scoop in 20 oz water it has over twice the sodium of a 20 oz Gatorade, and a bit more sodium than 32 ounces of Pedialyte Sports drink. 2. For so much sodium, it’s pretty tasty. I’ll be using sprinkles of it to jazz up my oatmeal in the morning. 3. Nice way for those who need electrolyte replacement to get some collagen with it. 4. Ancient Nutrition Filed for a trademark in 2017, so they’ve been around a while. 5. Transparency wise they have a large internet presence with a full fledged web page, which includes a list of their Certifications (which do not include GMP or 3rd party testing info) 6. Quality Wise you get a tasty powder in a large canister. Safety Seals are intact. The powder seems to dissolve fairly well in the 20 ounces of water they recommend. CONS: 1. Marketed as (hydrating) Collagen. Some unsuspecting soul like myself is going to have their blood pressure go through the roof because they want collagen and fail to read the whole label. Yes I saw the little picture of salt in the ad, and was mystified by it (sorry). 2. Accountability wise, Ancient Nutrition boasts a handful of popular certifications (carbon neutral, diversity, etc), but I could only find info about the more basic safety practices in a Forbes article, and they do not appear to be GMP certified, although they claim to follow current Good Manufacturing Practices. On a positive note, the Aug 2023 Forbes article claimed that each product lot was 3rd party tested and that they require a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) for each lot manufactured.

   I ordered this Ancient Nutrition Advanced Collagen Powder Protein Hydrate with Probiotics for my wife, who has been incorporating collagen into her diet. She uses this in smoothies and likes the way it tastes. There have been no adverse side effects and it has a few other vitamins in it. It’s pretty expensive though. It comes about half full. I’m sure it’s just a standard container filled to a certain price point, but the optics of a hallway filled expensive container don’t make people excited.

   I have the lemon-lime and honestly it doesn’t taste too bad. Most collagen powders tastes pretty gross but I can drink this without mixing it into anything. Easily dissolves in water and I can tell a difference in my nail strength and growth. I drink it every morning

   I love this brand it works ! But I have greater expectation from them now ! This is the 2 second time my seal is already opened or I’m not receiving the flavor I ordered. bestproteinpowder4women.net or the brand itself I don’t care who’s responsible ! Today I was excited about trying their new hydration collagen It took me 5 minutes to opened it to realized that it was already opened on both sides !! Like come on ! It’s annoying they are too big of a brand to be so poor in sealing their products !

   This powder collagen is a bit strong flavored for me. The directions state to combine one scoop (provided) of powder with 20 oz of water. In comparison with other powders, the proportion of water in this product is pretty high. Even after mixing with the 20 oz of water, the flavor (which is great) was still very strong. I plan on mixing less powder with the water, but then I would not get the full benefit of the nutrients provided as shown on the nutrition label. The container itself is larger than needed. After some normal settling, the container is half full, therefore taking up valuable space in my cabinets. The consistency of the drink after mixing is okay but it took a lot of whipping to get all the powder to dissolve. I plan on using a bottle with a whisking ball to bring this drink on my work day. Overall a good product with just a few observations!

    The berry flavored collagen powder with electrolytes is a great hydration drink for those who engage in workouts and sports. It contains not just collagen and electrolytes, but also probiotics, Vitamin C and Magnesium. It appears to be of great quality and concentration. However, I find it a tad bit salty and I detect a faint taste of fish, which could be off putting for some. Additionally, the sodium content is quite high which raises concern for individuals with pre existing conditions like hypertension. Also, the container appears too large for the contents. I was surprised to see that it was just halfway filled.

    At first, I hated it… then I found a much lower amount to mix with water and it was ok BUT NOW A WEEK IN …. YUK! The ARTIFICIAL sweetener is so strong even when not mixed strong, that now all day long my tongue is saturated with that artificial sweeter taste, it’s almost like a burn, like the sweetener has burned its way into my tastebuds so much so that I won’t consider this purchase a failure because the astounding amount of after taste has now made it to where I NEVER want any artificial sweetener ever ever again. I’d been trying to cut back but couldn’t until now, yuk yuk double yuk, I never want to ever taste it again so a backward thanks to Dr Axe; I no longer value your opinion since you put this gross crap on the market and are literally stealing people’s hard earned money in doing so but thanks to the HORRENDOUS never ending taste bud burning after taste, I’m forever rid of the need of artificial sweeteners.

    I like what this collagen powder is about, but I do not like how it tastes at all. It smells like it’s going to taste good, but when I went to drink it, it reminds me almost of medicine. It only really tastes okay when I’m downing it. And then I’m left with the same off-putting taste. So, good flavor while chugging only lol. I should mention that I’ve only been mixing this powder with water. It doesn’t mix very will with water when I mix it, but I am only mixing with a spoon and not a blender. I’m going to try this in a smoothie to see if that improves the taste.

    I really like this protein-collagen-hydration powder. I have been taking this for 4 days now and I really like how it tastes and how I feel. The directions mention to mix it with with water or in a smoothie. The mixed berry flavor tastes good in just water, a smoothy, or any other drink. I have tried it several ways and I think I like it best within my morning smoothie or in a large glass of iced tea. I like the taste it has and that it gives me a little burst of energy. This nutrition powder has an amazing blend of protein, vitamins, probiotics, and collagen. This blend differs from the other popular powder by specifically targeting hydration for your skin and body. I specifically got this for that reason. I get terribly dry, itchy skin and scalp during the winter and am anxious to see how this helps. Strangely, the canister I received was only half-full when I opened it. I don’t know if that is by design or by accident, but it says this contains 30 servings, so I will see if it lives up to that and may update my review later. Otherwise, it seems like they could have used a smaller canister. Overall, I am really loving this powdered drink mix. I feel great during the day and I know I am getting a healthy blend of vitamins, protein, and collagen that my old, tired out body needs. However, at $3.25/ounce or $1.83/serving, I feel this is a little expensive. But, this drink mix is packed with lots of great nutrition and it tastes good, so I would still highly recommend this.
