   Recently, I’ve started adding faba bean protein concentrate and aquafaba to my frozen desserts. This particular faba bean protein concentrate is a little powdery and gets into the air, so you have to hold your breath and maintain some space when you open the bag. However, the ice cream and sorbets (as in picture) always come out nice and thick, with practically no “beany” flavor. It’s MUCH better than whey protein and MUCH MUCH better than pea protein in that regard! Just be sure to take extra calcium pills when you quit the dairy 🙂

   I’ve tried almost all plant proteins and this is the worst. Pea, Sprouted brown rice, pumpkin seed all 100 times better. This has a really nasty bite to it, completely inedible. Manufacturer is not truthful

   I’ve used this product for about 6 months now. I mix this with another protein powder and it works well. Very mild flavor. I appreciate that the packaging is Eco friendly but getting the product out of the bag is messy. I finally gave up and now transfer everything to a container which makes daily use much less messy but I still waste a bit of the product. So even though I like the product, I’m only giving it 3 stars due to the packaging. Please find another packaging for this product!

   This is great. I still do not know what exactly this product is- or if it contains all the properties of Fava/broad beans or only the isolated protein- but the taste is very palatable- not offensive at all, even with no sweetener added. It is palatable even with only unsweetened nut milk and the powder. Not super tasty, but I only need it to be palatable, and it is! I tastes something like pancake batter. I am so happy to have found this. Most vegan proteins need a LOT of doctoring up and have sugars and things I dont need.
