   The powder is made in the USA and is Non-GMO, kosher and gluten-free. Bonus: it’s packaged in a resealable foil bag rather than a plastic tub.

   It easily mixed into my milk, yogurt and smoothies and was truly flavorless. Pro Tip: don’t even attempt to mix it into hot beverages or foods like oatmeal as it turns into a clumpy mess.

   Plain unflavored, unsweetened whey protein:

   This product is great to scoop into coffee for a protein boost in the morning. I’ve learned that with a small motorized frother it mixes easily and is undetectable with my cream and sweetener, and I’m kind of finicky about that. It would be noticable for the lightening effect in black coffee, but I don’t think it would affect the taste. I kept a scoop from another product that is about 1/4 cup and its perfect.

   Note: The only time it has failed to mix smoothly was when my coffee was just freshly brewed and especially hot. I set a timer so my coffee usually brews before I wake up and has had about fifteen minutes to sit before I get it, so that’s usually not a problem.

   I really like this protein powder. I mix it with a serving (3/4 cup) of Vanilla Greek yogurt and it masks the plain whey flavor really good. I use a scoop from another brand of protein powder that equals about 2 servings of this brand (it’s a 49g scoop). Altogether it’s about 60g of protein when combined with the yogurt. I have tried a variety of other things and it mixes well, for example chocolate almond milk. for smoothest results use a blender. Personally I just use a fork to mix it (pro-tip add a little bit of liquid at a time and mix well).

   Pros – high quality protein, mixes well with a variety of liquids/ yogurt. No artificial stuff. Low calorie. No fillers.

   Cons – tastes like whey when mixed with other neutral ingredients, what do you expect?

The powder is chunky like feta cheese instead of being fine like flour. I’m afraid to eat it. When I went to bestproteinpowder4women.net’s Returns, I was told I couldn’t return it, that I had to go to Customer Service. Well, I did. NOTHING in the Customer Service page tells me how to get a refund for this bad, probably dangerous, food! Very unhappy.

    Z Natural Foods Ultra Whey Protein Isolate Powder, Unflavored, 5 pounds is excellent. I am pretty hard core about washing down vitamins and supplements with a small amount of milk or water and protein powder, following with more water. I do not need fancy flavors or extra sugar. I am trying for a Low Carb diet and do not want any unneeded extra sugars or artificial flavors. This is essentially pure Whey protein Isolate, which is exactly what I wanted. I am using a few ounces of milk instead of water because I have a small bone stress fracture and need Calcium; otherwise I would use water only. The bestproteinpowder4women.net price was low but Misleading: it said $58 for 5 lb, but was actually $65 at checkout. The $58 applies only if you agree to continuous periodic delivery of more protein powder. I keep the bag in my freezer and use it to fill up a 2 pound plastic container of my previous Whey Protein product from a different manufacturer. That product was fine, but had carbs, fat, artificial flavors, and added sugar. This product is pure, unflavored protein at an economical price, which is perfect. I have had Zero digestion problems with this product so far.
