   Edit: I couldn’t even try to continue using this. I forfeited the cost, threw it out, & ordered from a brand I’ve used before. I prefer the Vital Nutrients marine collagen or the Nordic Naturals one. Previous review: I’ve used various brands of marine collagen. This is the only one that has a yellow tinge when dissolved. It also has a strange flavor unlike others I’ve taken. I’d probably return it, but I’m out of town & can’t deal with shipping returns.

   I’ve been using this for several years and finally decided to write a review. I’ve reordered probably a dozen times and it has NEVER tasted fishy. I put a scoop in my coffee mug before I brew it, then stir for 10 seconds and it’s completely dissolved. I’m 51 my skin looks more hydrated since I began using this collagen powder, but I really started using it to help my joints, which are also much improved. I picked this brand because it is not meat-sources. It’s not cheap, but I won’t stop using it.

   I have gone through several brands of marine collagen. I specifically chose marine collagen because I researched that it had a lot of anti-aging benefits for the skin. I know other people use it for joint pain. I do not need it for that but take it to keep my joints in good health now that I have reached my 50s. As to whether marine collagen affects my skin, I am assuming that it works long-term, over time, and thus that affect cannot be measured easily. I have been taking it for about 18 months.

   I decided to review this product in order to help future shoppers as they try to pick the best brand. This one dissolves better than ANY other product I’ve tried. All the others clumped annoyingly as I stirred it into liquid and were generally messy to consume. Not so for CodeAge. I highly recommend this marine collagen solely for that quality alone. It is completely tasteless when stirred into smoothies or coffee or milk, which I consider a plus as well. This tub is large enough to last a while (I use one scoop a day) so I consider it a good value.

I had been using their multi collagen but when bestproteinpowder4women.net was out of stock, I figured I would give this a shot. Let me tell you that it’s hasnt disappointed! I was shocked at the fact that I don’t taste it (I put it in my coffee in the morning). My hair seams healthier, my joints feel better, and my nails are super strong. I’ve also noticed that my skin is clear and just feels better! I highly recommend it to whoever is reading this just as I have to my family and friends.

    Have only been using it for 2 weeks so can’t speak to the effectiveness, but wanted to leave a review on the smell and texture. I don’t notice a smell or taste when i mix it with my morning coffee. It does leave a sticky feeling on your lips but that’s to be expected, I think. It does not mix as easily as others have stated. If you see in the picture, most of it dissolved after a few minutes but there is always just a few small chunks that i can’t get rid of. To solve this, i froth my coffee. I add milk anyways so it works for me but for my husband who takes his coffee black, it seems ridiculous. However, it works to fully dissolve it all! Will report back in a few weeks about the rest!

    I ordered this product due to my usual collagen supplement being out of stock. I haven’t used the product long enough for the effects however the solubility is definitely a minor issue which irks me. I tried both hot and cold water which always results in white clumps that require me to use a spoon to break it down and wasting my time in the mornings before I go to work. This is definitely not a collagen supplement issue as my previous one dissolved just as well in cold water.

    Excellent collagen product. I don’t eat beef so was looking for a high quality marine collagen. This collagen does not smell and is also flavorless. It mixes in hot coffee easily and doesn’t clump. It was suggested to me by doctor because I have acid reflux and I drink black coffee on an empty stomach. He said that isn’t good and you should always pair food with coffee so he suggested I put collagen in my coffee along with taking a supplement called Refluxter afterward to prevent reflux. So far so good and I am happy I’m getting some fat free protein now in the morning along with my coffee.
