Update: They changed it!! It used to be 110 calories, now it’s 150!! … I have to watch my calories closely and although it may not be much of a difference to some people, it’s a pretty significant difference for me and my daily allotment. Also, it has a MUCH heavier cinnamon taste (as well as something else I can’t quite place). It’s much too ‘spicy’ now for my liking. I’m very disappointed that they did this. I had thought the original one was perfect. :/ If I can find the original, I’ll buy as many of them as I can. As for this ‘New & Improved’ version, I definitely won’t be buying it again!! ————————- Previous review: I just tried this!! Add a little almond milk, mostly water, to one scoop, and zapped it with the magic bullet for a few seconds. Yum-mee!! Very Very good!! Oh yeah, and I ordered the vanilla chai.

I was skeptical because most organic/natural protein powders have the worst flavors/textures that you almost have to get use to. I was AMAZED at how delicious the Vanilla Chai tastes. I saw a previous review about using a bullet and blending almond milk (I use unflavored soy) one scoop of protein and a whole banana. I am just in awe of how good this tastes. That being said, I haven’t tried it alone with soymilk in my blender bottle. I’m hoping it will taste just as good. But as far as organic protein powders go, I will be purchasing this one for now on in the large tub. UPDATE: tastes amazing even by itself with soymilk of course. Also mixes very well in my blender bottle. So glad I took a chance on this product!!

I have been taking this once per day for the past four days. I feel full and I have energy, I am feeling cleansed. I have also given it to a neighbor who has cancer, every morning for the past four days. He says it is giving him a boost and helping him go to the bathroom regularly. It is cleaning him out 🙂 I ordered vanilla chia and we both think it tastes great. I use one scoop, 1/2 frozen bannana, 4 oz of Callaway blue water and 4 oz of unsweetened silk almond milk and I mix all the ingredients to a blender. If you are thinking about ordering it and you are worried about the taste or how it makes you feel, just buy a small container, because you might like it.

This is my first time trying this product, however I was very disappointed by the volume of powder. Why would they use such a large container? It was only half full when I opened it. I was buying this product to carry with me as a meal replacement, however the packaging is far too bulky. It doesn’t really make sense.

I purchased the chocolate and the vanilla chai flavors. Both of them were awful, even mixed with almond milk. The texture is very gritty. The flavor is barely detectable, and there’s a funky aftertaste that lingers. It’s like drinking a jar of watered-down mud. Not very filling, so it doesn’t really work as a meal replacement. If I hadn’t paid so much for it, I would just throw it out. Maybe I can mix it into something else, so I can at least get the benefit of the nutrients?

I have ordered this from bestproteinpowder4women.net more than 10 times going back to 2020. I love it but then again I make an absolutely yummy milkshake out of it! I use one cup of almond milk, some frozen bananas and if I’ve been really good I use a squirt of chocolate syrup. Put it in my blender and I have a delicious shake that I really truly enjoy.

What caught my eye about this item is zero saturated fat that was in the description on the website when I received the package it stated 0.5 g of saturated fat that’s misleading to a consumer. That’s trying to cut down on the saturated fat.

Garden of Life changed their formula according to the latest nutrition facts. I already noticed the fiber content has dropped by 1/3 and the vitamin amounts are all over the place. Not happy with this ninja change.

I work in the medical field, I’m on my feet all day and I hit the ground running right when I get to work and I am NOT a morning person. It’s rare for me to have time in the morning for anything more than brushing my teeth, putting my hair up in a pony tail and putting scrubs on. I needed something quick in the morning, that I don’t have to cook, and this has really worked out for me. After drinking it I’m satisfied for about 4 hours till I have my morning break. I have the chocolate flavor, The taste is a big topic on the reviews. It is chalky, but doubling the liquid helps a lot. I like to add coconut milk, cold brew, molasses, peanut butter in my blender bottle; mixes well. Doesn’t have an after taste and is NOT sickenly sweet. I can’t tolerate stevia or other fake sugars and this is not bad at all but I haven’t tried it with water only. I needed something that has no Gluten, Dairy, Banana (**real allergies) and Soy (hyperthyroid issues) and kept me feeling nourished in the mornings while I’m running around taking care of your grandma. 😉 This has been a really great purchase and I will buy again.

I have been using it for 3 days. It’s pretty good. I got the vanilla chai and it really does taste like vanilla chai. I add it to milk and it is kinda chalky even after mixing for a long time; I expected that though. It’s not bad. I am drinking it for breakfast, lunch, and I have some with a small portion of food for dinner and I don’t really get hungry in between, so I guess that means the meal “replacement” feature is true enough for me. Lastly, I can’t knock the manufacturer for it being “half empty,” I mean, I know how powder supplements work. It’s packed down, but the weight is actually what your purchasing. This is my first meal replacement powder, but I would buy it again.

Is very very tasty! Not what I expected. It has this nice cinnamony vanilla taste that’s light. I blended with Oatmilk. Next time I’ll do a banana and maybe some peanut butter to really make a nice shake.

I love so many of the garden of life products. They are always clean foods without and junk in them. This meal replacement is perfect for on the go when you need to knock back some nutrition quickly. I am not sure how it mixes if you just shake it because I always put it in the blender with some nuts and frozen fruits and then take it with me to go. It is always nice and thick, filling, and tastes delicious. I have tried so many powders out there and this is really my favorite. The other ones always have stuff in them you cannot pronounce as well as tons of sugar and fillers. Not this one, it’s all whole food. The only issue I have is that you do not get many servings out of it for the price but for a clean product, it is worth it!

Overall, I’m really impressed with the product. The taste is fantastic—smooth and not overly sweet, with a nice chai flavor that complements the vanilla really well. It’s packed with organic, plant-based ingredients, and I love knowing that I’m getting a good amount of protein and nutrients in each serving.

One small downside, though, is that the powder is almost impossible to stir into water by hand. I tried using a spoon AND fork, but it kept clumping no matter how much I stirred. I finally had to switch to using a blender, which worked perfectly and gave me a smooth shake. While it’s not a deal-breaker, it does mean I need to plan ahead when I’m on the go or don’t have access to my blender.

Overall, it’s a great product with high-quality ingredients, but be prepared to mix it thoroughly!
