   Price: This is pretty much as good a deal as you’re going to get on protein. ~33 servings in a 1 kg bag for $18, and each serving has 24g of protein. That’s 792 grams of protein total, which works out to around $0.02 per gram of protein. This is an outstanding value. Taste: It’s pure pea protein, so the taste is pretty bland. A few reviewers have described the taste as being bitter or otherwise unpalatable, but that’s not accurate. It’s just bland, raw pea protein (which is the point). Remember, most of the pea protein powders you find at your local store are combined with other ingredients such as stevia, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, etc. to make the powder more flavorful and sweet (for double or triple the price, too). If you’re used to those products then, if you try this, you may not like the taste since you’re expecting the sweetened, chocolaty version of it. In any case, you can always add extra ingredients yourself. There are tons of recipes online; my personal favorite is peanut butter and a banana mixed with some almond milk in a blender. On most days though I just combine it with some almond milk or water in a shake cup and it’s perfectly fine. Quality: The powder itself is homogeneous and easy to scoop, and it mixes pretty well with whatever I toss it in. The bag is durable and resealable, and doesn’t take up unnecessary space. I haven’t experienced any digestion issues, excessive burps/aftertaste, gas, defecation/fecal issues, or anything like that; everything seems to pass through as pea protein should, and there are no negative effects on energy (although one thing to consider is that I always drink protein after workouts/cardio and have a healthy digestive system). The only complaint I have is that the seal on the bag (similar to a Ziploc Pinch & Seal sandwich bag) does not seal well and easily comes apart. This could partly be due to powder blocking the seal, but it seems like the seal itself is undersized. That said a dust-off followed by a good pinch usually keeps it closed well enough for me; others may need to find a suitable container for storage. Other thoughts: -Be aware that there is no scoop in the bag. If you don’t have a suitable scoop, there is a conversion chart on the back of the bag which converts tablespoons to grams (6 grams per tablespoon, 30 grams per serving, so 5 tablespoons per serving). -This protein is high in iron, which makes it a great daily supplement for vegans -Shortly after receiving my order I got an e-mail from BulkSupplements.com offering me a free sample of anything in their catalog. You may not be so lucky depending on when you’re reading this, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re planning on buying more than one of their products.

   I didn’t expect to try the pea protein with a slightly bitter taste.. I tried unflavored pea protein of two other brands before but never had the same experience. I would not say that there might be something wrong with this pea protein powder but I would just prefer buying soy protein or whey protein of this brand in the future.

   This stuff is great. Its actually much cheaper than most protein powders out there (around 51 cents per serving) I’m vegan and I struggle to find 60g of protein a day. This stuff really helps me out the taste is kind of bland (which is good). If u add some Stevia to the mix its actually not too bad. I Imagine that mixing it with dark chocolate almond milk will taste very good. The only problem I have is the bag it came in is a little difficult to seal. So I would suggest putting it in a old protein container or jug of some sort for easy access. Also 30g is about a 1/4 measuring cup stacked high.

   The product arrived with the product seal folded and taped shut. When I removed the one piece of tape, the bag was ccx already cut across the top and the zip seal was not engaged.

   I purchased this protein powder once, and thought it was inoffensive and actually quite pleasant tasting.

   But when I purchased a second bag, it tasted rancid and with an overpowering chemical taste. I was also unable to get a refund on the bag. I have been using Bulk Supplements Creatine for a while now, so this discrepancy took me off guard. Beware of quality control on this product.
