   I’ve been using Spirutein for years as my breakfast (flaxmilk + pb2 powder + Spirutein + banana = amazing!). I’ve tried other plant-based protein powders from time to time (including many with higher protein), but this has the best flavor and texture by far. I’ve also found other protein powders have a weird aftertaste, and this does not. I only wish they’d go back to the original packaging. The new containers are too tall to fit in any standard cupboard. Luckily I saved an old container, so every time I reorder, I have to dump it into there so I can store it. Overall, highly recommend if you’re looking for a plant-based protein powder.

   I’ve used it for many years and it made me very strong indeed. Now, it does have soy protein, if that’s a concern, and I would recommend another protein powder that doesn’t have that. Get a personal blender to save 5 minutes having to mix the powder into a liquid (like almond milk!). Done in 10 seconds! Who’s got time to waste?

   I am currently expecting, and my midwife recommended this protein powder. I have been drinking the same smoothie throughout my entire pregnancy and I just entered the third trimester. I genuinely look forward to my shakes in the morning and the chocolate has been my favorite flavor (I’ve also tried Vanilla). Both flavors blend really well, and the powder does not have a grainy texture. The protein powder has 14g of protein which you may think is low but once you mix it with other ingredients (I use whole milk or Greek yogurt) the protein increases. If you’re looking for a protein with clean ingredients and a great taste, this one is it!
