   Over the years we’ve used a bunch of different protein powders and we’ve managed to find several good or great ones. This one definitely falls into the good category.

   In general, we like the taste of the SunWarrior Hemp protein powder. If you’ve ever had hemp hearts – it has a similar mild nutty/grassy taste to it. As protein powders go, it mixes fairly well but is slightly more gritty than other non-hemp protein powders. It is also slightly lower in protein and higher in fat than most milk based protein powders. For us this is not a big issue, but if that’s something you’re sensitive to or optimizing for, then be aware

   If you are looking for an alternative to whey or casein, then this is a pretty good option.

   Ordered this Plant based Sunwarrior hemp protein powder to use in my morning shake after my workout and so far have enjoyed it. It comes in a 1.65lb bottle and is USDA Organic and plant based which is always good. I had never tried Hemp protein powder so this was a first. Only 120calories per serving with roughly 25 servings in the bottle. Was made in USA! 15grams of protein per serving with 0grams of added sugar, soy free, gluten free, dairy free & non-gmo. The one I got is unflavored and when mixed with water you can taste it but it’s not terrible. Kind of tastes like very nutritious and healthy dirt lol. It would be nice if they had maybe a chocolate flavor but that’s just my opinion. I can recommend this to someone who wants to try Hemp protein. Will update later on if any of my opinions change.

   I rarely drink smoothies because I’m always hungry afterwards. My doctor suggested adding protein powder to help with my appetite. I know nothing about hemp powder, but this is vegan so I thought I’d try it. I like that it’s organic and that, to me, means it’s high quality. I used it to make a “Frozen Goat” smoothie with bananas, apple, cocoa powder, and brewed coffee. I was thrilled that the powder didn’t change the taste of my smoothie. It didn’t taste weird or chalky like some vegan protein powders I’ve tried in the past. Its good and adding a scoop of this boosted the protein in my smoothie and kept me feeling full for longer than usual.

   I truly enjoy making smoothies, and this hemp protein powder has been a fantastic addition for boosting protein intake! The powder has a wonderfully soft and fluffy texture, without any grit, and its flavor is pleasantly mild. I’m also a big fan of the packaging—it comes in a reusable, convenient tub with a scoop included. While the scoop is quite large and it takes a fair amount of powder to reach the recommended serving size, I’m still extremely satisfied with this product. Protein is so important for energy and overall health, and this plant-based option is a great way to incorporate it into my daily routine.

   This hemp protein powder is an interesting addition to my arsenal. Its got a good amount of protein for being plant based, and gives you a good size tub. It mixes up well enough with a decent texture and only has a bit of a taste. Its unflavored, so it makes sense the natural taste comes through, but if you mix it with other ingredients in a smoothie, or add a bit to a whey drink its not really noticeable at all. Its a good quality item and a decent value at that. I included the nutrition content panel, because for some reason the listing showed it in what looks to be Polish. I’m not sure why what would be, as everything on the packaging is English. Would recommend as a great alternative to whey, however be aware of the bit of natural hemp taste.

   I’ve been using Sunwarrior’s Hemp Protein Powder for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m pretty impressed. I was looking for a clean, plant-based protein source without a bunch of additives or sweeteners, and this one checks most of the boxes.

   Taste-wise, it’s pretty earthy, which is typical for hemp protein, but not overpowering. It blends best in smoothies with banana or almond butter to mellow out the natural flavor. This isnt the type of protein you’d mix into water and chug. But I do like this as a protein in certain smoothies and oatmeal.

   Compared to other vegan powder, It doesn’t sit heavy in my stomach and doesn’t give me any bloating. Nutritionally, it’s solid. A good balance of protein and fiber, and it’s nice to get some omega-3s too.

   If you’re looking for a clean, simple, and plant-based protein with no frills, this is a great pick. Just be ready for a natural taste and texture. Would definitely buy again!

   I weight train three (3) days/week. I also bike, swim, Pilates, and other fitness activity. I put A LOT of effort into maintaining fitness levels. I use a protein supplement post workout as I have realized that my fitness outcomes can be increased with seemingly minor changes. Hemp protein contains all of the Essential Amino Acids (EAA); bonus points for a complete amino acid breakdown (many protein sources miss this information).

   No artificial flavors or sweeteners though; bonus points here!!! Made in USA, certified organic. When you mix it up, it is the color of mud. Do not let that deter you; the flavor is surprisingly neutral. Get past the mud, tt dissolves easily in my shaker and with the neutral flavor, perfect for any additions you might like in your smoothie. Or nothing at all.

   I’ve been trying to get more protein and fiber from natural whole food sources, and this hemp protein seemed like a good one to try. There is only one ingredient: Organic Hemp Seed Protein. It’s ground into a fine powder that mixes well with even water, but tastes a bit better mixed into a smoothie. It’s not that it tastes bad (it’s actually not too strong), but for someone that doesn’t like the flavor, a smoothie does disguise the flavor well. The powdery nature does stand out a bit, but again, not too much. Per scoop it has 15 grams of protein, 8 grams of carbs (2 grams of net carbs) and 6 grams of fiber. It’s also a good source of amino acids, zinc, niacin and minerals. This is a nice big container, so it’s a pretty good value.

    It’s good. Never had this before and not familiar with this brand, but I have some allergies to milk so I am always looking for non-dairy protein. This has a unique texture and appearance which is a little off-putting, to be honest. But is blends very well in a fruit smoothie and mostly dissolves, and there’s not smell or bad taste when you do that. The protein content and protein quality on the packaging looks consistent with other big brands, and obviously I cannot test it to confirm, but I have no reason to doubt the claims. Pretty easy to use and you can mix it up from smoothies to we put it on top of coconut milk yogurt with fruit, and it was very tasty there. Overall, appears to be a good product and we have no complaints. Several of us have tasted it and thought it was pretty good and a nice alternative. If this was my only choice due to allergies, I would say that I’d be quite happy — so anything with limitations in their diet due to allergies should give this brand a go because it’s good!

    This is some nice hearty hemp protein full of goodness. I add it to smoothies, and I like the earthy flavor it imparts (the container says it’s flavorless, but I disagree on that point). It also changes the texture to be slightly chalky but I don’t mind it. It does blend up well—no chunks—and it goes down easily when blended in a smoothie. I tried it in my coffee, thinking that protein coffee would be awesome, but nope—it ruined my brew for me. I do think it would have a great texture and flavor for some hearty muffins, though, so I plan to try that in the future—if we don’t use up this container on smoothies first!
