   This is a very convenient way to get collagen into your daily routine without getting out the blender or making smoothies. A scoop in your coffee or tea mixes easily (unlike a lot of collagen or bone broth products) and isn’t bad tasting or overly creamy. It sort of disappears. I got Mocha flavored and it smells good, although slightly artificial. It doesn’t cause a strong coffee flavor once mixed with liquids, though. It mixes to a more mild vanilla-y aftertaste. It has no artificial flavors but does have unidentified natural flavors that make for a pretty strong dessert-like aroma. Sweetened with stevia but not overly sweet. For those interested in labeling, macros, and specific ingredients (and why I dropped a star): I’m not sure how much I trust the label here…and wanted to share my thoughts with others who care about this. A 13 gram serving has 10 grams of protein, zero fat, and 2 grams of carbs, zero fiber. Ingredients are: collagen, natural flavors, xanthan gum, salt, and stevia. Pure collagen provides no carbs so the only other source of carbs in this would be the natural flavors and xanthan gum. I use xanthan gum as a thickener in drinks as well as a gram scale daily and about 1/10 of a gram would make this product the viscosity it is. That would contribute 0.1-0.3 grams of carbs per serving and this would not be enough to register on the label legally (it would be listed as 0 grams carbs). For 13 grams of this powder to contain 2 grams of carbs means the natural flavors in this must make up a substantial part of this mix and contain carbs from unknown sources, such as sugar. For most, this is no big deal. However for very specific diets, such as hcg or keto, the unknown carbs and substances and the possibility of unlisted sugar could be a bit unsettling. Also, this mix has a milk chocolate color to it while collagen is ivory to white. Basically, the “natural flavors” in this likely includes a host of substances that contribute both color and nutritive value to this. It would be nice if the company was more transparent about just what is included considering these ambiguous flavors come before the thickener and stevia. Also, the source of collagen and how it is processed is unclear. Collagen processing can be pretty nasty and include manufacturing procedures many would find unsavory. Whether this product is solvent and bleach-free, etc., I can’t say.

   Read about Collagen as a supplement while researching protein powders in an attempt to reach my New Years resolutions and be healthier and more active. I was shocked to find all of the benefits of Collagen, and even more shocked to learn that it is the most abundant protein in the human body. When I found out that LonoLife sold Collagen, I was sold, knowing that their products come from grass fed, pasture raised cattle. The powder itself (I got mocha) tastes better than expected, and mixed easily with 8 oz of water. I also found that it helped suppress my appetite better until lunch, facilitating a more productive morning at the office. Solid purchase and definitely recommending this to my friends!

   I am a believer in Collagen Peptides! I add this to plain water, shake it up and pour over ice; it makes a great drink that gives your body what it needs to nourish your hair, skin and nails. I think the Coconut and Pineapple flavor is very light, not overpowering at all. I have noticed an improvement in skin elasticity, finger and toenails are healthy and the ridges are gone, they are not brittle anymore.

    I’ve been using lonolife bone broth and I love it but it’s got too much sodium in it so I switched to the collagen peptides because it has less sodium. It tastes fine when mixed in a smoothie but I can’t drink it mixed with water alone. Despite the lower sodium level it has a salty flavor that I find weird in a coconut pineapple flavored drink. It would be better if they left the sodium out.
