After receiving it, I realized it is also Allergen Free, Soy Free & Dairy Free, which makes it even better. Edit: After a month of using it, I’ve already seen results in my skin, hair & nails. It made my nails stronger, my hair is growing faster now, & my skin doesn’t break out like how it used to before I started using this powder in my smoothies. It’s tasteless which is a big plus.    Used this once Probably will throw out will probably seek other opinions before doing so in case it’s just me Chalky unpalatable. Was sealed so doubt it could be an issue after manufacturing. Based on ingredients it should be beneficial so hesitant to dispose of yet. Big issue – Smells like white vinegar crossed with rotting something or other. It burns inside of nose. I have used several similar products and have never like this before. Will possibly let it sit for a while see if the smell goes away. Could be mixed in smoothies to avoid chalkyness

   I’ve only used this product for a month but I have already purchased again. This product mixes well in my hot coffee each morning however I do find it doesn’t mix quite as easily in cold liquid. Just some tiny lumps. It blends well in my protein drinks with the magic bullet. I would recomend this product.

   I been taking many collagen brands,some of them really hard to digest… I’m 52 years old and my nutritionists recommended to take collagen peptides , he explained to me why I have difficulties with other brands and types of collagens.     I’ve been using collagen powders for quite some time now! It’s really hard to find ones that are truly unflavored that are also affordable! Often times, they taste very strong of like a grassy bovine flavor..if you can imagine what that would taste like. This one in particular only has a very mild flavor. It’s easily covered by putting in smoothies/juice/etc. In hot liquid, it dissolves surprisingly well. In cold, it won’t…but that’s normal. If putting in a blender, you can use easily in cold drinks. If not, put some hot water in the bottom of a glass and mix it in first. Then add the cold liquid and stir. The only thing that made me hesitate with this was that it doesn’t state what collagen is in it. I’ve heard that if there’s too many varieties, the efficacy is lost. I usually prefer types 1 & 3 but it doesn’t say if that is what’s included on the container. I’m not knowledgeable as to what each type is..and so maybe they just didn’t state it in that form (1 & 3) but instead wrote out the more proper form. Anyway, this is a decent option if you aren’t looking to spend a whole ton for ‘exactly’ what you want!

    This brand has everything I look for. It’s a USA company with third party testing and GMP certification. Also, if has no extras like sugar or artificial sweeteners. My husband and I have taken collagen for awhile now and can attest to the improvement in skin, hair and nails. Many people our age (69 and 75) have “crepey skin; we don’t. I usually put my collagen in yogurt and he puts it in oatmeal. For review purposes we tried it in water. It dissolves easily. There is a mild taste that I can’t really describe; not bad but I prefer mixing it. The suggested dose is one scoop which equals two tablespoons. I think this is a good product at a fair price, $29.99.
