I was so excited to get some more of this Purium… after making the first drink I thought my almond milk was sour. Made another shake with water and the taste was still horrible. Turns out I bought UNFLAVORED and it tastes nasty compared to the yummy apple berry flavor I’ve always bought. Costly mistake. I will still drink both bags since the ingredients are so good and I paid $100 for it.

I’ve had difficulty finding these powders without containing Stevia. I can’t stomach the awful taste of any pretend sugar. So, for that reason, I’ve been drinking this Power Shake. Vega protein powder is also good, and only half the cost, but is derived from plant protein that has a bit of nasty heavy metal ground contamination. The Purium has dairy-derived protein, so it’s a bit cleaner. It doesn’t take long to become accustomed to the taste of either one. Either is very satisfying the way I prepare these with some honey and peanut butter blended in milk. At $100 per pound, it’s outrageously expensive.
