   It mixed up well in the blender. I added milk and it came out with a nice taste, very creamy. Nothing earth-shattering, though.

   But it’s lower protein than other powders I use, fewer extras, and a higher cost per serving. So I’m not sure what’s here that’s worth the price. I started looking through other reviews to see what I missed. Might have found it when someone said it was $20 originally, but $50 now. I’m not positive, but did they put a low price on it while sending it out for early reviews, then bump it up afterwards?

   This AN Performance whey protein powder is really good. It has a nice creamy chocolate flavor, it isnt overly sweetened and it mixes well. The powder arrived very fresh with an expiration date out almost 2 years from receiving it.

   On any given day, you can find me having atleast one Protein Shake. While I have my favorites, I’m always on the search to try others. All Protein Powders are not created equal. I have some I use strictly in recipes, others I simply mix in a shaker bottle, and some that I turn into a yummy, thick consistency Milkshake. Because, why not… which is what I decided to do with this one. My go to for thicker consistency. In addition to the 8 ounces of liquid, whether using water or milk (my choice is Almond Milk) I add about a 16ounce glass of ice cubes when I blend. It comes out spoon worthy every time (see my photo above) the glass is the one I use to measure my ice cubes. The AN Performance Whey Protein Powder Vanilla Shakes are delicious. Very little aftertaste with a clear vanilla flavor coming through. With 23g Protein, 1g Sugar this will easily fit into my daily Macros and at this price point is quite cost efficient making it a great choice for anyone that enjoys daily Protein Shakes, like myself. Have fun, anything you eat should taste good. If choosing a flavor such as Vanilla, it’s easy to incorporate frozen fruit to change up the flavor profile. Another favorite of mine is using a scoop of protein powder to make pancakes (tons of protein powder pancake recipes online). Easy breezy with items you likely have in the household. Top with sugar free maple syrup to keep the calories low. Whatever you decide, I think this is a great choice.

   This whey protein powder is a solid choice for muscle recovery and growth. The powder has 23g of protein per serving, as well as amino acids for recovery. The protein only has 1g of sugar and 3g of carbs per serving, which is great for low-carb or keto diets. The chocolate flavor is rich and blends easily into shakes or recipes. I have not had any issues mixing this in to pancakes or water, and it is convenient to prepare.

   I take this hybrid protein for performance gains. Often, for me, a protein supplement is needed to advance in my workouts. Sometimes, it’s hard to get all the protein required through food. This is an excellent source of protein. It’s great quality and highly absorbed. This helps me to add lean muscle. It’s a mixture of whey and milk protein. So, this may be a consideration if you’re lactose intolerant. It has a great vanilla flavor that’s slightly sweet with no aftertaste. It mixes well in water and contains 23g of protein per each single scoop serving. There are 25 servings per container. This is a great value for the quality and amount.

   Amazing, powerful vanilla flavor that tastes and smells delicious, mixes quickly with milk or water in a protein shaker, silky smooth creamy texture, also makes delicious smoothies when used in a blender, I like to mix it with french vanilla ice cream, coconut milk, blueberries, 4-5 ice-cubes which turns out amazing, 1 scoop (included) provides 23g of protein, 100 calories, 160 mg of sodium, 20 mg cholesterol, plus some vitamins and minerals, most importantly this protein mix agrees with me perfectly no stomach issues or other side effects, it’s enjoyable to drink and includes what I am looking for in a protein powder, ultimately I would definitely recommend. The other ingredients are also very good with a blend of whey protein isolate (50%), whey protein concentrate (25%), and milk protein isolate (25%), it’s naturally flavored, contains pink himalayan salt, xanthan gum, sunflower lecithin, cellulose gum, and is sweetened using sucralose (a common artificial sweetener), I also appreciate this whey protein is non-gmo, gluten-free, and is tested by Informed Sport for protein content and being high quality, it is also tested for banned substances, made in the USA from domestic and imported ingredients, large re-sealable bag, provides 25 servings.

   I’ve tried a lot of different chocolate protein brands and mixes over that past twenty-five years and this one honestly takes the title for the smoothest and most natural tasting. It tastes a lot like the premium pre-mixed bottles like Alani Nu, and it tastes a lot like real chocolate milk. The flavor beats Muscle Milk and Premier Protein to me, it’s on par with Optimum Nutrition or maybe even better. The nutrition facts are pretty solid with low carbs and lower calories for the protein content. Definitely a recommended try!

    This seems like a really great protein powder, but I just couldn’t take any of it. It has the P65 lead warning on the package that says consuming this product can expose you to lead and could cause cancer. I always stay away from products with that warning just as a precaution. I’m not taking any chances. There are products out there that don’t have that warning and do a similar job.

    I’m not saying that this product is garbage, and you shouldn’t take it. I’m only saying that I personally don’t take, or use, any products with that warning on the label. Use your own discretion.

    Overall, it has the dreaded P65 Lead Warning on the label so I can’t use it. It’s too bad, it really looks like a great protein.

    AN Performance vanilla whey is excellent. It mixes easily, tastes great, and is very conveniently packaged. I usually buy the big names, but their vanilla is boring and fake tasting. I really like whatever AN did with this one. It’s creamy and rich, and there’s like a subtle spice that reminds me of snickerdoodle cookies.

    I tried other vanilla protein powder before and this powder tasted very good and probably would rank high in the list. It wasn’t too sweet and didn’t have any strange aftertaste. It does have that sweet vanilla flavor that mixes well with milk. I tried with water too but I didn’t like the texture. With milk it is more creamy and easier to drink. It also has a good calorie and protein ratio which is much better than other brands as well.
