   So far I am enjoying this meal replacement shake mix. While it’s not the best thing I’ve ever tasted, it has a pleasant chocolate flavor and is vastly better than other brands I’ve tried in the past. It’s a little gritty at first sip but if you let it sit for a minute between mixing and drinking, the grittiness dissolves and it gets very thick. I appreciate the quality vegan ingredients. Not a huge fan of added sugar, but it is a relatively small amount. It’s a large hefty jar and even comes with its own scoop!

   I love the chocolatey flavor. I mix it with unsweetened almond milk and the powder completely dissolves. It is a quick and easy breakfast for when I am on the go. I like that the chocolate flavor covers up the other tastes in the powder. I would buy it again.

   I’ll call this interesting, but it’s not something I would buy again. There are only 16 servings in the jar, which, when you open it is about half-empty. The opening is so small I have a hard time getting my hand in to grab a scoop. Noticed right away it smells weird. I still can’t seem to find any plant-based protein shake that actually tastes good. This one says it’s chocolate flavored, but I’m not tasting any chocolate in this. Can’t easily describe the flavor, almost like an iced tea/veggie health drink taste. It’s a really dark color. It doesn’t mix great, still had little chunks in it when using an electric blender. It oddly has more added sugar than any protein powder I’ve had and only 15g protein per serving. The extra sugar didn’t translate to any real sweetness. Just not a fan of this product.

   I am really into this plant-based protein powder. I use it by itself so shakes but also use it as an ingredient in my smoothies. What is best about this protein powder is the rich chocolate taste, that makes it a great addition to anything that needs a good chocolate boost. Overall I am really happy with this powder.

   This vegetarian nutritional shake mix in chocolate flavor tastes pretty good but it is hard to mix up and has a chalky consistency to it. There is 21.4 ounces in this container so will make quite a few shakes but you definitely need a shaker bottle or blender to mix it up to make it easier to drink.

   Nice strong chocolate flavor but like most of these shakes leaves a bit of a filmy aftertaste in your mouth. Nothing unexpected though and it was enjoyable. I can’t say I notice any major benefits from taking this but I liked it.

   I am not a fan. Perhaps if you are vegan, you will be a fan, but I was not. First, it doesn’t smell great and it’s an unpleasant color. (see photo) Regardless, I persisted and I blended it up with milk and a few ice cubes. The taste was not good. Not very chocolately. More like slightly pea-flavored sludge. One sip was enough. I offered it to my son, and he wouldn’t drink it either. Perhaps if you mixed this in with something besides milk, it would be okay? Like ice cream and chocolate syrup and maybe a banana? But WOW, is this expensive.

   The taste of the shake is chocolatey, earthy, and mildly sweet. I mixed it with one cup soy milk, one cup water, and it was somewhat enjoyable. Recommended for those seeking more the health benefits of its ingredients over an addictive flavor.

   I have only had this once, so I cannot give it anything less than 3 stars because I don’t know if it does what it claims to do as a protein powder. I thought that it tasted bad. The flavor is supposed to be chocolate, yet somehow it tastes like something else entirely.

    I’m pretty open minded about products, but this was one that I just couldn’t get behind. The texture of the powder smelled a bit savory out of the container but I held my judgment. I first blended the powder with a banana and some almond milk. It did blend very easily. The taste was sort of a bitter cocoa powder and then greens, peas and bananas, which wasn’t really what I was expecting. The texture was chalky and a bit gritty. The second time I made this, I used regular cow’s milk and it was okay, the texture was the same and the taste was almost similar, but a little less tasting of veggies. I tried it once more just in case I did something wrong. I added coconut milk and blended it for a while to make sure the grit got mixed out. That had no effect and it was still just as gritty. I will say that it did give me an energy boost after being at the gym which is nice but I don’t think this is something I’d purchase again.

    It looks hideous. I did NOT want to try it once I saw the color. However, this beastly looking powder is hiding a beauty of a surprise. I have tried soooo many protein shakes. They all try to convince you they are chocolate milk when, in fact, they are slightly cocoa-scented glasses of grit and sadness. The vegetarian ones are worse. I’m not going to swallow plant based protein and like it just because they try to mask the flavor with too much Stevia. This is hands down, the sneakiest product yet. Dude, this stuff is actually smooth!!! SMOOTH! I know, it totally doesn’t look like it, but the texture (I used plain water) was, well, it was missing! This confused my mouth and brain so much that it took me a few swallows before I realized that it wasn’t too sweet for me. I’m a black coffee drinker, no sweet syrup nonsense, thank you. I really was pleasantly surprised at the balanced flavor. Now, don’t call me out, I am not saying this is chocolate milk. But it isn’t bad, not at all. The price is where you may choke a little, it isn’t cheap. But buying a product you can stand to drink every day, and WILL drink, is better than buying cheap nastiness that it is a punishment to swallow and ends up gathering dust on the pantry shelf. Check out all the goodness packed in here! I highly recommend that you close your eyes and try it. No bloat, no stomach distress (and I have IBS), just clean power in a really ugly drink.
